B&L Beast Burger ($26) Surf and turf turned out to be preeeetty good! The beef patty was really juicy and flavourful, together with sweet, chunky fresh lobster meat topped with brie(!), truffle (quite mild) and taragon mayo, fennel and cabbage slaw.

Original Lobster Roll ($33) Still as good as I remember with crisp fluffy buttery brioche, stuffed with sweet lobster meat tossed together with Mayo. A little squeeze of lemon and this can never go wrong with the lemon & garlic butter sauce. (+$5 for fries and salad)

Lobster Laksa ($39 for half lobster) Honestly quite enjoyable and what an indulgence! Wouldn’t say it’s worth cos it’s $39 for a laksa but it does come with half lobster ($69 for whole lobster). The gravy was rich and lemak, with the usual suspects of taugey, taupok and noodles.

Full Breakfast - Common Man Stanley Full Breakfast $30 - chose eggs scrambled and sourdough over wholemeal. They have a full breakfast version for vegetarians as well. Quite pricey compared to other cafes, not worth the price. A bit dry overall and had to request for additional sauces. Unique rectangular hashbrown that had many crispy edges because it was shredded and fried into a thick block. All ingredients came in nice chunky portions, tomatoes and mushrooms smooth and juicy.

Umami Mushroom Avocado Toast $24 | Chai Latte $7 poached organic egg, oyster & maitake mushrooms, red onions pickle & togarashi

Organic Eggs Benedict ($26) Instead of the usual smoked salmon, the Eggs Benedict version here is heavier as it comprised of braised ox cheeks served on a crusty sourdough bread and topped with two organic poached eggs that were drenched in hollandaise sauce. The braised ox cheeks were fork tender as the meat pulls off without much effort and very well-seasoned that it was packed full of flavour and wasn't gamey.
