Opened for about a few months. The set comes with a miniature chawanmushi starter. Felt the batter was a tad too heavy. Definitely had better. (6/10)
Used Burpple to find our dinner place on Ubin. Cheong Lian Yuen is located at the beginning of the street of shops. Went for the seafood bee hoon. Good flavors and wok hei. Goes well with all your other dishes! (7.8/10)
The tendons are okay, but it can’t quite compare to the ones served at tendon. Good hiding place from the busy CBD, but seats fill up quite quickly over lunch.
This place serves beer and healthier food! What a good mix. Ordered the steak quinoa bowl. 50% off 2nd mains for lunch. So that’s a good deal. Good flavors and good portions, you should be full after the mains. Value for money. (7.4/10)
Their sushi menu is really worth it! $38/ $68/ $98 options. Go for $68 if you want to leave satisfied without the uni. (8.5/10)
Decided to come here after reading more about it on Burpple. Got the number 13 special ramen - listed as one of the chef recommendation. Broth is bright and rich, and love the springy yellow noodles! (7.9/10)
The food at marche hasn’t really changed since 10 years ago. The favorites are still the rosti, crepes and root beer. Thought the ribeye steak was pretty worth it at $23.90. It was pretty okay. (7/10)
First time in this area and I do what I usually do; swipe up the Burpple app. Discovered a legendary char kway teow (closed at the time) and this. Superb bowl of noodles. Flavors where really good! Worth the queue. Uncle and Aunty was very friendly as well. (7.8/10)
Kajiken is my go-to dry ramen place. Glad they’re opening more outlets. Drizzle vinegar to give it a good kick. If the noodles aren’t enough for you, you could ask for a scoop of rice to go with your unfinished minced sauce. (7.5/10)
Really good chocolate ice cream and waffles! Get the set that comes with a drink. Probably the choice for desserts in Bedok. (7.5/10)
Refreshing and cooling. Perfect for this humid weather. (7.7/10)
