You have to go early if you want to avoid queues. The best thing about this famous chicken rice is the free flow achar and lotus peanut soup that accompanies the main dish. A steal @ $5/pax
With several versions of toppings such as salmon, beef and chicken, refuel is a haven for mac & cheese lovers like me. This version with beef has a tomato base, ensuring it is cheesy without being overly rich.
Finally a place which serves a true kobore (overflowing) ikura bowl! The piece de resistance of the omakase course at Kyuu ($129)
A good alternative to zichar dishes for group dining. My fav dishes of the night were the chicken wings ($8 for medium) and deep fried large intestines ($6), which are not often found at other kway chap places
Ordered a steak pizza which had a good cheese pull but was overtly oily. Could barely finish my second slice :/
