Meadesmoore dinner I had a fantastic meal at Meadsmore. The steak featured a really interesting cut that stood out from the usual selections, and it was cooked beautifully. Every bite was incredibly juicy, with an excellent meat-to-fat ratio that made it rich without being overwhelming. Paired with the restaurant's flavorful red wine sauce, it was an absolute highlight of the meal. The sides were just as memorable. The sourdough was perfectly crusty and elevated by the incredibly fragrant leek butter, while the scallop was fresh, sweet, and cooked to perfection along with the XO beef sauce to top it off. Every component of the meal felt thoughtfully prepared and complemented each other wonderfully. If you're looking for a place that serves quality steaks with attention to detail, Meadsmore is definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be back to try more from the menu.

Wonderful experience! Had a wonderful meal at Meadsmore! The steaks were cooked beautifully—tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. The side dishes complemented the mains well, and every dish was presented nicely. The service was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The restaurant has a warm, cosy atmosphere that’s great for a date night, family dinner, or special occasion. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. Definitely a place I’d return to and recommend to anyone looking for a quality steakhouse. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice ambiance in the CBD Was looking for a dinner spot in the CBD and this was a very pleasant surprise. Steak was done just right, with nice scallops as our starter.

A combo: Queen of Steak & Sze Chuan Sauce Queen of Steak ($25) - tender and melts to your mouth. We partnered it with Sze Chuan Sauce ($2). A good combo that compliments well each flavours. People’s Burger ($24) - not too thick yet still juicy. But we have tried other good burger. Picanha Don ($17) - for those who can’t get away with rice, this is a good meal in affordable price. Includes vegetables and egg too. Oozing with flavour and large portion of steak.

Can't believe almost a month has past since we dined at Burnt Ends... 😐 It was tough getting a reservation towards the end of last year, but we were lucky to have scored one! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience. From small plates, main courses, to dessert🍬, the food was exquisitely presented and we loved the combination of flavours. Burpple voucher is only for 1 item If you’re planning to use Burpple, take note that it is only for 1 applicable item. Prior to ordering, I had informed the staff that we were using it and they did not mention this. Upon checking the receipt and clarifying, they said that it was clearly stated in the T&C and only 1 voucher could be used for every 2 pax. I tried searching for this but no where was it stated. After looking at recent reviews from other outlets, it is clear that this wasn’t just due to my lack of conscientiousness. Overall, wouldn’t recommend this place mainly due to such practices. Food (coffee and brunch) and services were average at best. Burgers were almost bland and at this price point, I would say that there are a lot of better options out there. Won’t bother going back.

Perennial Favourite 🌟 Our party of 3 ordered the cheeseburger, which was good, because the patty was moist and juicy. The truffle mushroom pizza was great too, not too overpowering in terms of the truffle taste, yet sufficient to complement and bring out the flavours of the mushroom. The fish tacos is always my favourite to order because of how delightful the fruits and the fish prove to be refreshing. Ideal for sharing.

Pure Jujube Yogurt ($5.60) Yogurt was thick and smooth, the jujube flavour was light and complemented the yogurt well. We got normal sugar which started out okay but towards the end was a little too sweet for our liking - we would probably opt for less sugar next time. Great if you’re looking for a heavy dessert - the whole cup of thick yogurt will be sure to fill your stomachs up! A (I think) healthier alternative to bubble tea or ice cream. :)

Yomie’s Purple Rice Yogurt $5.60 First time trying Yomie, wanted to get the Hot Pumpkin Fresh Milk with Pistachio, it sounds so good but they ran out of Pumpkin. Will definitely come back and try it Purple Rice Yogurt (recommended by the staff) - drink is really thick and rich - they blend/mix the drink upon ordering - felt that it can be a meal replacement since the portion is generous and the thick texture - simple shop layout with music - not many tables to sit (maybe due to covid)

Yoghurt with Purple Rice $5.60 | Have been wanting to try this for the longest time! Creamy and smooth yoghurt blended with purple rice. Super generous amount of purple rice given and very chewy. Great as a post workout meal as it’s very filling! Would be back to try out other drinks as well!

Seafood Pancake ($25) On top of the combo chicken set, we also ordered their seafood pancake, which came in a large plate and sliced into 4 pieces. The amount of seafood was pretty generous; one can find small prawns, squid pieces and crab stick. There were also some spring onion and chili slices but the pancake was not spicy. Overall, it was fragrant and flavorful but a crispier version would have been desired. The pancake served here was rather soft (like omelette) as compared to those served at other restaurants where the exterior would offer a delightful crunch.

Combo Set (9 pieces: 3 Original, 3 Garlic, 3 Yangnyum) $28 Located a short walk away from Maxwell Hawker Centre, Kko Kko Na Ra is a popular Korean fried chicken place that also serves a variety of alcohols, army stews and other Korean dishes. As we wanted to try different flavors or their fried chicken, we order a combo set to share. A variety of chicken parts were given such as wings and also chunks with smaller bones (not very sure which part it was) but there was quite a lot of meat in each piece. The chicken pieces were fried to perfection that gave a delightful crunch to every bite. As the dining partner did not have a high tolerance for spice, she found the yangnyum flavored ones to be too spicy for her liking. That said, as the sauce is also slightly sweet, its spice level was actually pretty mild in my opinion. I would personally still prefer the original or soy flavored ones that aren’t that sweet though but it’s nice that the wet sauce did not cause the chicken pieces to be soggy. The insides of the chicken pieces also remained juicy but were not overly greasy. We liked that the restaurant offered free flow water and also a box of tissue for you to wipe your hands after you’re done enjoying your chicken.

Best Korean Fried Chicken! Crispy and not oily! Original is the best, followed by Soy Garlic!! Yangnyeom is a little iffy perhaps seasoning was bad when i had it, tasted more like spicy ketchup which wasnt that good.

Best Seafood Still my fav place for seafood done fusion style

Chendol 12++ Nothing special at all, the coconut sorbet was good, and the chendol had more bite than normal as well as seaweed inside. But the Maldon sea salt wasn't applied evenly and that made some parts very salty. Feel like a lot of stuff here is overpriced and with the cafe-esque decor it's really hard to convince myself to fork out high end restauarant prices, even though their menu is interesting. I guess you're paying for the knowledge and the novelty but the taste isn't particularly stellar(I didn't try any of the super ex seafood but this was alr 60 bucks)

Generous Protein Portion! The menu was a bit limited cause they said they’re only operating half day now, but I ordered the salmon and the beef bowl and both met my expectation! The beef was of abundance and was seasoned well, the mentaiko salmon was huge and thick too! I would recommend buying these bowls if you want a quick fuss free meal, but for a variety of choices, not so.

Herbal soup with braised pork rib ($13.90) Always come back for this comforting bowl of herbal creamy pork broth $8 nett per bowl after using burpple beyond! Really worth it considering how even food courts charge around this price nowadays.

Tomato Soup Braised Beef Noodle Tomato soup was sweet and savoury. The braised beef was also very flavourful. Noodles are on the softer side but still enjoyable. Worth with burpple 1 for 1

Tasty noodles Great 1-1 deal on all maibs. Sichuan vegetable base and Herbal bone broth is nice. Nice hearty and filling meal. Will come back! Staff was also nice to intro the menu and clarify my questions about Burrple Deal.
