We tried the diavola which consist of peperoni + cheese, and I say they serve good pizza! 😍 Pizza sauce tasted nice, the dough was the thin type and nicely chewy, definitely a (traditional) pizza done right!
Another random thing mum ordered was the Calamari Fritti aka battered calamaris! (cumi goreng tepung lol). While they don’t look that flavor-ish they actually taste quite nice with the salty batter. The thing I like is the batter being not too oily.

The sauce is cream based, with cheese & mushrooms and then drizzled with truffle oil.
this pasta dish is probably my favorite cream-based one so far.
The truffle scent lingers when the dish came, and it was indeed very notable in the sauce.
Whatever the chef put in the sauce, it results in a magnificent one! The sauce was sooooo good I was tempted to lick the plate 😂
Another dish we ordered was LEMON BUTTER CHICKEN. While the dish doesn’t look the most appetizing, the chicken actually tasted quite nice on its own. The mashed potatoes were GREAT. The lemon butter wasn’t the creamy type but it was legit lemon butter. It tastes like butter with lemon flavor, which tastes quite ok but perhaps not worth the calories coz, the chicken is already good on its own.

❤️ the thing I found outstanding from Dopa Dopa is how they can balance the sweetness of their gelato(s). I sampled their coconut pandan flavor which I thought would be too sweet but, it’s just gently sweet!
I really recommend their pistachio gelato! So good!

It appears that the Creme Brûlée french toast had been replaced by Strawberry Cheese french toast and here is it in the picture.
The toast itself is filled with some strawberry and cream cheese, then additional cream cheese, fresh cream, vanilla ice cream, berries, hazelnuts, and also honeycomb & honey drizzle are added into the dish.
While I like soaky fluffy french toasts more, theirs wasn’t very soaky and the bread wasn’t the fluffy type (maybe sourdough!). Still enjoyed the whole plate though! My favorite part are the hazelnuts and honeycomb which added different flavor and texture to the french toast.
I would also like to mention the awesome service. Even though it was crowded during my visit, my french toast didn’t take a long time to be served! ❤️👌🏻

Now they are having a pop up booth at Takashimaya’s B2, selling “Messy Bowls” that include this salted egg chicken rice as one of them.
To be honest, I didn’t expect it to be this good! This is my FAVORITE salted egg chicken so far 🤩! Firstly, the salted egg sauce was just right! Strong salted egg + curry flavor, not too sweet, the right texture. Secondly, they use bigger chunks of chicken meat with decent batter so you can actually feel like you’re eating chicken, not batter 🙅🏻♀️
While it is obviously more expensive than usual salted egg chicken rices (at S$10.90), it’s still acceptable because the chicken are generous and (this might be trivial) the lettuce was romaine and fresh, and there’s some edamame haha.
I hope they continue having pop ups so I can have this dish in another given time! 😄

In frame is the “Deconstructed Spanish Jamon Omelette”. Consisting of a bed of omelette, picuillo mayo, with some asparagus, rocket salad, and of course Jamon (ham) slices.
The jamon really leveled the dish up! I recommend adding a sourdough so you can have a DIY jamon egg sandwich! The saltiness and savory flavor of the jamon is very nice eaten together with other elements of the dish that have gentle flavors 🤤, even nicer between their sourdough (they have good sourdough!)

Love the pistachio tart filling, the tart base, the pistachio chantily, caramelized pistachio, custard cream, whatever is in the tart are all magnificent. Furthermore,
the strawberries blend really well to the gently sweet pistachio elements! DELICIOUS! 🍰💕

In frame is the Pandan cake, pandan sponge cakes with caramelized coconut gula melaka layer and coconut cream, then covered in crumbles. Another cake I tried is the Jagung Bakar cake and Nougat cake.
The incorporation of savory bbq corn flavor in the jagung bakar 🌽 cake is something very unique to my palate but somehow addictive (maybe micin¿ 😂)
I also tried their nougat and I LOVE their caramelized nuts.
What makes me love their cakes is that they are smaller in size so there’s more crumble to cake ratio (the smaller the volume the larger the surface are to volume ratio) and let me tell you that their crumbles, whichever flavor, is AMAZING!
From the food menu my mom ordered Bubur Ayam and Tahu Lada Garam
Bubur Ayam 🍲 was good, the only thing I would like to suggest is that the kerupuk and emping (crackers) should really be put seperately so it won’t get soggy before we eat it.
Tahu Lada Garam had great flavors but I’d like to see more tofu because when you bite through it it’s 50% batter.
Conclusion: I LOVE 💕 this place and would definitely come back to try out their sandwich selections and of course, more of their cakes! Staffs were also nice and service was great ❤️

Apple Chiboust {2} was one of the most interesting looking cakes on the display; flaky tart filled with caramelized apples, baked custard, topped with gently brûléed Chiboust cream; a mix of light pastry cream and meringue. This one is totally recommended! Lots of textures incorporated, all with the right flavors.
For the chocoholics; “Yatsura” {3} is of Pantler’s signatures which consists of hazelnut dacquoise, dark chocolate mousse, and crunchy feuilletine. The feuilletine was too die for 😍. As an intense flavor lover I’d prefer stronger dark chocolate in the mousse but “Yatsura” is still a very good cake and something I recommend. YOU WILL LOVE IT
Last but not least is the strawberry shortcake I bought for my mom, which uses strawberries from Chitose, Japan. The sponge cake was quite fluffy, I LOVE the cake altogether! The fluffy sponge, the tart strawberries, the acceptably sweet fresh cream 🤤. To be honest it was better than my expectation!
To conclude, pantler is a must visit dessert heaven when strolling around Telok Ayer!
