$1.50! always heat up the breads from almond bakery in the microwave (with water for 45s) to get the FLUFFIEST BREAD omg. so soft and fluffy and felt like I was eating a cloud, but still had a nice bite and chew to it. the filling didnât taste exactly like char siew - had some mock meat pieces but missing the sweet honey and roasted flavour. but still good on its own tho! love their breads but always can only buy one at a timeđ˘
$1.20 for one and omg this was SO GOOD. finally visited june bakery and snagged some tarts, went at 9:30am but the mochi was already goneđ° the orh nee paste was so smooth and silky, and yam flavour was so strong without being too sweet. the tart was the shortcrust pastry type - was pretty buttery (but not overpowering) and nice and crumbly too! wasnât too thick. I donât really like ginkgo nuts so I canât comment on that, but overall really worth the hype. uncle was very friendly too:â)
also about $2.80 iirc? microwaved it for 30s, and it came out really soft and fluffy! a little bit too oily though. surface also had a nice sugar glaze that added some sweetness to the bread that was a very nice complement to the sour and tart raspberries!
$2.80 iirc! microwaved it for 45s to enjoy it hot the next morning. a little too chewy for my liking tbh! had a chocolate filling that was a good balance of sweet and bitter. I didnât expect chocolate filling so I appreciated that there wasnât too much inside! orange flavour wasnât prominent enough for me though, couldâve been stronger (maybe orange zest in the dough?) - felt like a pure chocolate bagel. but overall not bad!
