After a long day of work, a good bowl of ramen is much needed. Saw this Japanese shop is full of people. The live cooking station at the storefront is quite interesting. Seemed their fried rice is good, looking at the texture & color.

My bowl of tonkotsu is tasty, the brooth is flavourful and not too salty. Add chilli oil for an extra kick of spicy flavour.

My 1st impression of their melaka latte is nice, slightly sweet with a unique taste of gula melaka. That period is when they have soft opening.

However on my 2nd, 3rd visit donā€™t know why the coffee standard has dropped. One day the coffee too diluted with so much iced. Another day the coffee & gula melaka taste was not proper.

All in all, the pricing is reasonable $4.80 for a cup (hot/iced).

Find this stall at Amoy Food Center level 1, which they have almost everything I need. Most important to me is Japanese sesame sauce dressing, followed by raisins, fusilli pasta, sweet potato, corns, edamame. I chose sliced duck meat as my protein.

For $5.40 you get a salad base + 5 toppings + 1 protein & dressing. Isnā€™t it a good deal?

What a healthy, yummy and affordable bowl. Love so much this soup and never give it a miss whenever I visit Muji cafe.

Never expected such a winner compared to KFC. The skin is crispy and one pcs of fried chicken is packed with meat. I like the seasoning flavour on the outer chicken. 1 for $3.5 and 2 for $6.5 is quite reasonable price.

Dropped by here since Iā€™ve noticed a lot of patrons. They have spacious dining space and menu variety. Typically Iā€™m skeptical about thai milk tea as normally itā€™s too sweet. Surprisingly itā€™s not, just the right amount of tea & sugar. The price is quite affordable.

For the fried glass noodle, itā€™s a small portion. Not much going inside the plate. To me itā€™s not a satisfying portion. Need to look for other things to fill out the hunger.

Flavourful & tasty tom yum fried rice, I love the aroma and texture. For an extra kick, you can add chilli padi soy sauce. My Thai food craving fulfilled here āœŒšŸ¼

Every time passing by this shop, always has strong aroma of truffle. One day, I decided to dropped by and find out. Apparently, every dish that has the rice base, it will be served with a fragrant truffle rice. I topped up another $2 for an extra seaweed & jellyfish. Overall, itā€™s an affordable meal. Perhaps because itā€™s near NAFA & LASALLE college which has a lot of students.

Dropped by the shop and the batch hasnā€™t ready. So I reserve 2pcs of chicken pie and collect later. 1pm sharp, upon collection the chicken pie is still hot and soft smoke coming up from the pie šŸ„§

The outer skin is soft crisp & flaky. The filling inside is creamy & tasty. Satisfaction guaranteed!

At first, I was wondering why a cup of coffee at FairPrice supermarket can be expensive. Afterwards I learned that actually this is an established Specialty Coffee Shopā˜•ļø which already been well recognised for their quality coffee products.

Indeed the mocha is good & warm my tired soul after a long day of activities. Served in a stylish Japanese ceramic cup. Go give it a try when youā€™re around FairPrice Vivocity

Just realised they have rebranding from Issho to Nekuta. Food quality is really good & affordable. Surprisingly not many people in this legit Japanese shop. Ordered unagi rice bowl $8.80 + extra jellyfish $2.50.

Overall, itā€™s a light & tasty lunch. Good for those who pursue nutrition balance meal without burning your pocket.

You canā€™t buy happiness, but you can buy a piece of creamy and soo goood ice cream šŸ¦ at the heart of Kampong Glam. This store is side by side with Konditori, the famous bakery shop.
Lickety opened till late 11pm (Fri & Sat). For those who wants to close their meal on a sweet note, this place is a perfect choice.

First time, tried their ice cream egglet waffle šŸ§‡ with 1 flavour ice cream + 1 topping at $8.90 which is good enough for me & my husband to share. Best is to have mix a mix waffle (buttermilk & red velvet), so you have the best world. My hubby likes dark angel - choco ice cream.

Although itā€™s not cheap, but worth the money.
Leave Kampong Glam with a smile in your tummy.
