Classic Acai Bowl ($8.90) I wanted to try for a long time under acai journey. I felt puzzled that half serving portion size was quite so less and compared to full serving ($12.90). The portion size filled like two third of bowl only. They served seasonal fruit such as kiwi, blueberries, strawberry and banana. I opt out for dragonfruit as personal perferences :")

Classic Acai Bowl ($12.90) Can share between 2 people. Honestly, the flavour and size is better than some other places but there's a weird subtle end taste where it will remind you of the smell food will get when they've been in the freezer for too long. So-so for me!

Above Average Mala cucumbers and scrambled eggs were tasty. But the reason I came here was to try the beef brisket and I was kinda disappointed. The gravy was pretty good but the meat itself was kinda dry. Sort of like a pulled pork texture. Soft and tender, but dry because the meat itself didn’t have enough fat. I guess it’s healthier lol. As a whole, I did enjoy the entire bowl.

Mango Berry Sunset [$20] Created in collaboration with Tanqueray, this cocktail was a very bright concoction, both visually and in taste, with quite a sweet-tasting mix of Tanqueray London Dry, Raspberry Puree, Lemon Juice and Mango.

Donut Balls [$15] We had the house-made Donut Balls for dessert. They are freshly fried on order and comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, crumbles, blueberries and a sweet blueberry date compote. The outmost layer of each ball had a pretty nice crunch, but it was unfortunately too dense and doughy past that.

Veggie Puttanesca Pizza [$22] The Veggie Puttanesca Pizza is a new seasonal main, featuring an all-vegetable assortment of toppings on a base decked with puttanesca sauce. It includes Kalamata olives, capsicum, Roma tomatoes, button mushrooms, yellow onions and arugula. Not a huge fan of the pizza base, as it was a little more dry and biscuity.

Delicious and cheap Food was delicious, especially for the price. Had the seafood bisque pasta and it came with a generous amount of seafood and the pasta absorbed the bisque flavour delightfully. Their drinks are also great, had their passionfruit drink.

Dinner at Long Black Cafe Excellent service and food. However, portion of food may not be sufficient for some. Restaurant serves early dinner too with nice ambience.

Gelato Waffles With 2 Gelato shops that are almost side by side, and a craving for ice cream overcoming my sweet tooth, we walked over after our dinner at ABC. Carrara not only serves gelato, they have a wide menu of hot and savoury food on their menu, from pasta to rosti, etc. But what is the must have here at Carrara, is definitely their waffle and ice cream. Waffles were freshly made, smell so buttery & Aromatic even. The texture so crispy and tasted buttery. Their Gelato had many varieties to choose from and I was really spoilt for choices.

Banana Crumble Waffle Totally fell in love with the 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲. Delicious banana slices meticulously arranged on a fluffy waffle showered with biscuit crumbs created a delectable dessert. The scoop of 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 ice-cream also went very well with the waffle. I’ll be back to try the main courses!

Smashed Avo Toast This was $20 and totally not worth it. It’s really creamy but the creaminess doesn’t come from avocados but something else they had mixed in which makes it really surfeiting. The slice of bread was really thin as well. Thank goodness we utilised the burpple beyond app

Great Hangout Place With Quality Food Once again, thanks to #burpplebeyond, chanced upon this cheeky cafe! The food exceeds our expectations where I tried “steak and no eggs” but was not sorely disappointed given the potato side was so delicious- crispy on the outside yet soft and creamy on the inside! The steak was medium rare and all was well! Not just that the service was really good as the staff are so friendly and attentive! Refilling our bottles even after we finished our meal and was sitting down there to chill and chat! Overall a really good hangout place that I highly recommend 😋

Passionate chef with above average taste and effort to be difference ordered the burger and beef! i love all the details that go into it, even simple things like the salad/garnish the chef wanna enhance the taste to make sure they get finished too! the beef is definitely decent enough to go back again! Their services can get a bit slow (half of their employees are special needs persons), but for a good cause (their profit goes to charity), wouldn’t mind coming back again~ Damage: $27.78 incl. of svc charge & GST

Rainy Morning Brekkie Steak was sous vide before being seared. Almost melts in the mouth. A little more charring will be nice. Lovely steak. Pickled red onions adds an interesting taste to the steak. Pretty filling.

BBQ Beef Grilled Cheese Sandwich Portion was huge and the entire sandwich was oozing with the beef brisket and cheese! Think they used like 3 different types of cheese but with the flavour from the beef brisket, it really wasn’t overwhelming at all. It comes with real hot soup in a mug (cute!). We got the mushroom soup which was also really nice and full of flavour - kinda feels like it just warms your soul?

Good Ol’ Eggs Benny Had the eggs benedict with stewed spinach! My eggs were perfectly poached and runny and the hollandaise sauce was yumz but tbh I’d skip the spinach - felt like it was unseasoned and it didn’t really work with the whole dish. Oh but I really really like the roasted potatoes!

Rose Latte Iced $7 Value for money for $7. Rose flavored latte. Right taste, right quantity. Decor and ambience of this place is just wow. Little hard to find near tanglin, but totally worth the visit. 5 stars

Avocado Toast with egg $13 Brilliant is the word. Ample avocado, enough egg. Perfect for a grand breakfast. Complete value for money Beautiful decor and amazing staff. 5 stars
