I have not, till Iskina Cebu @ Timbre+! For this Double Sampler ($12) which includes the Lechon Cebu (Pig Belly) and Liempo (Grilled Belly) which I reckon it's something like the roasted pork in SG.
The meat is well seasoned and the Liempo was so crispy! Definitely a good first impression on Filipino food!😋
Takezo Ramen's one tasted was quite yummy! I like that you can choose 3 portion sizes for the soba and guess what, it's free upsize!
I had the Nankotsu Maze Soba ($11.90 ala carte, $15.90 with set) while my bf had the 5pc Cha Shu Maze Soba ($12.90 ala carte, $15.90 with set)! We chose Karrage chicken & Gyoza as our sides. Pretty interesting that they gave fried maze soba although I would say it's only okay.
I go there more for the portion than the taste to be honest.😆
This time it is their Hot Salad! At $8.80, 4 sides, 1 base, 1 hot protein can be chosen.
I got the Honey BBQ Chicken as my protein, Braised Peanuts, Mixed Mushrooms, Onsen Egg, Cherry Tomatoes as my sides and Oven Baked Potatoes cubes as my base. I was so full after eating this!
Guess what, they have 10% corporate discount for some of the companies located around Raffles Place and my firm was one of it!😆
Love that more stores are coming out with poke bowls and Umi Sushi is one!🍙 They have 3 selection: Tuna, Norwegian Salmon or a mixed of 2. Together with brown or white rice, soba or salad as a base. Take note that soba & salad will have surcharge on them. The sides as seen on the pics are already preset. If you would like to get additional toppings, you need to pay more for them.
There are 2 sizes: Mini @ $8.90 & regular @ $10.90. I would recommend to get the regular since it's quite a big difference when comparing the size. The poke was nice!😊 #umisushi
Sad to say they are closing down the Yishun (Not Chong Pang) branch the next day after we ate there! Food was good, affordable ($90+ in total) and even have some special dishes such as deer meat! I personally like the Fish Maw Soup and the Braised Tofu dish the best!😍
To be honest, I think it's ok only. Although I wouldn't deny, there are salmon pieces in it. Hmm..🐟
My personal favourite would be the Chicken Karrage and the handrolls!😋
I really like the homemade brown sauce from the Chicken Steak Out and the burger was rather nice too! I like that it's on Eatigo and they send you promotional email to update their customers on their latest promotions! #whenlifegivesyoucitrus
Love the Satay and apparently the chicken rice is from Boon Chiang Hainanese Chicken Rice? Seems like they have a few outlets in Singapore. Food was cheap though, We spend less than $15 in total!
The cheese is slightly sweet, very stretch-y and rather chewy! To be honest, I would treat it more of a snack than an after food dessert since it's quite filling!
Recently, I tried Stamina Ramen Set from Joshoken which is situated in Ramen Champion. At $15.90 (not inclusive of GST), it includes the ramen, A plate of Gyoza and a drink!
It's a big bowl of ramen with a mountain of bean sprouts! The portion is quite big, soup broth is garlicky so for people who like the garlic taste can try it!😋
There are more food that we ate there but they were all gone before I took photos of them! The Coconut pudding was the best! Nice to have it in a hot day!😆
