Burrata pizza lunch 32++ The crust still isn't good. However the rest were still great. Still the best Parma ham I've had in Singapore, but this time the balsamic was abit too much. Lol. Guess they saw my previous review on how they didn't have enough balsamic Consistent.

Mentaiko pasta lunch 27++ Idk if they have a lunch set but their lunch promo is that several of their ala carte items are 10-15% cheaper than during dinner This was mad delicious. The creamy mentaiko sauce was full of mentaiko umami, yet remaining very creamy and somehow light enough, not jelat. I don't usually have cream pastas but this, I couldn't help spooning over and over even after I was done w the pasta Pasta has bite but wasn't al dente. Ikura is bitter, not good But overall, I haven't had a better mentaiko pasta yet. Must try

Whipped bottarga 14++ Their menu is very confusing. Thank god the ala carte menu is available during lunch. The specials menu isn't consistent either, the scanned menu doesn't reflect what it shows on the handwritten board Food: The bagel was good, quite fluffy and quite well caramelised on the exterior The whipped bottarga was delicious. Good umami, there's a little bit of edge but it's forgivable

Ravioli This was trash. The cheese was tasteless and theres hardly any flavour. V oily and the herb sauce thing has a candy like taste So, so bad.

Pappardelle The clear kind of base, it's decent with a tad of sourness which I didn't like. Pasta was alright

Mortadella mousse 6++/pc The mortadella mousse is alright, it has the pate kind of slight smelliness The base which tastes like cereal is damn bad tho Apparently the owner is Italian, that's unbelievable given the quality of the food

Basque Burnt Cheesecake For a more classic number, the Basque Burnt Cheesecake ($11) was exactly as expected. A more than decent and the dictionary definition of the iconic bake; think mousse-like creamy inside with a dark caramelized surface. Their rendition is not too “burnt” and I enjoyed the level of sweetness as well as the slightly smoky flavour.

Olivia's Signature Cheesecake I introduced Queic by Olivia to my brother recently and now I am his errand girl so he can get his cheesecake fix. I am not that fond of cheesecakes but I have to admit, Olivia’s Signature Cheesecake is unique and deliciously savoury (rip to my wallet). Cheese lovers will definitely love this molten rendition in my opinion despite its stark difference from New York Cheesecake and Basque Burnt Cheesecakes. Starting with the sliced Olivia's Signature Cheesecake ($16.40), which I think is best eaten there, the ratio of ooey-gooey filling to crumbly almond sablé seems to be the best with more cheese to crust. The velvety cream cheese and blue cheese combo were pleasantly salty with a gentle piquant aftertaste (no overly funky, scary, in-your-face blue cheese flavour). Similarly, the 4-inch tart was yummy with its melty, lava-like centre. It was a little sweeter in my opinion as there was a little more crust but it certainly travelled better.

Stilton 15+gst The blue cheese layer is strong, it tastes a lot like Roquefort. Then there's the milk chocolate exterior escapsulating rather mild cream Again it's more experimental than anything you really will naturally love. Without the blue cheese piece it's really just a mildly salty hardly sweet cheese cream which wasn't too special honestly, but again the jam worked well It's a strawberry jam and it's sweeter than the overly tart nonsense I had the first time around, no wonder it pairs much better Overall it's alright, but too ex

Chicken Banh Mi (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) The Chicken Banh Mi was incredibly flavourful and probably our favourite among the two variants! The shredded chicken chunks were relatively tender for breast meat cuts, and the seasoning was on point. Also, crispy edges on the fried egg ($1 top-up) is always a plus point. 👍🏻 

Pork Bahn Mi (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) First-timers can try their Pork Banh Mi, jam-packed with ham, fatty pork slices, pickled veggies & their house-made sauce within the freshly baked baguette. Personally, the key to a good bánh mì is the baguette, and theirs came with a crusty exterior while fluffy in the middle. I enjoyed the ASMR crunch with every bite, less so about the bread crumbs all over my lap LOL (but it's not a biggie). 🥖The pickled carrots and radishes added a contrasting tang against the meatier elements of the sandwich while providing a pleasant crunchiness. The pork slices could have been thicker, but at least they were tender and clean-tasting. P.S. Pâté is life! 🙌

Clean the Floor, Don't Be Lazy Khao Hom, please teach your staff that the appropriate response to a customer’s request for food spillage on the floor to be cleaned, so that we can sit at the table.... Is DEFINITELY not "you can just sit at another table". Especially if the customer has a bandaged/injured leg - kinda ridiculous to make her walk here, there & everywhere, no? & speaking of walk, it might also be a liiiittle bit more professional to walk nearer to the customer to hear what she’s trying to say, instead of indicating that you’re confused because you can’t hear me. Just a suggestion. 🙃 The floor was only cleaned after I was seen taking a photo of it, which happened ~5 seconds before another couple sat at that table. They then told the waitress who came to their table (she came with the QR code to order, not with a broom or mop - but to be fair, she wasn’t the one I spoke to) to clean up the food on the floor. Your premises were not crowded. The 4 staff I saw on shift were pretty much idling. Cleaning the floor is basic courtesy & also hygiene. But maybe that’s not part of your best practices.

Pain au Suisse Chocolate, Strawberry Shortcake Cruffin Would order every pain au suisse chocolate I see recently because I am a quite sucker for the fine threads that sings beauty! The ones I fancy are of course that explained as “plain croissant layered with another croissant with layers facing up” by Mr Holmes Bakehouse. While their rendition did do the bake justice I might have had a better one elsewhere 🫢 As for our chosen cruffin, it came a little dry even without reheating, which wasnt a significant problem with the generous amount of pleasantly sweet strawberry shortcake flavoured cream. Also whatever beans they were using, my hot long black was “worth every penny I paid”.

Key Lime Donut & Bourbon Caramel Pecan Sticky Bun Bourbon caramel pecan is an amazing flavour combination! Loved the dense consistency of the dough and it had the right amount of sweetness:) I wished they could have heated it up though Was looking forward to the key lime donut the most but the filling was too sour 😞 the donut wasn’t as doughy as i would have liked and the sugar coat was a bit much for me

Iberico Secreto w/ Creamy Truffle Linguine Oh boy was this good. The pasta, iberico bits, and creamy truffle sauce all came together so well. Didn't even feel jelak at all.Try it!

Grilled Habanero Chicken ($22) Juicy, tender, well-seasoned chicken. Throw in crispy charred bits, and you've got a delectable piece of meat worth droolng over. Coleslaw was light and tangy, adding a nice crunch to refresh the palate between bites. Mashed potato (?) was kinda pasty though.

Christmas special Part of the Christmas box. I don't think it has a flavour lol. I must say cinnamon rolls at this size really defeat the purpose.

Surprisingly good Mexican Food in Novena Chanced upon this small restaurant when we were around Novena area. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant serves up amazing Mexican food. I found their quesadilla and nachos more amazing than their tacos. Will definitely be back for more! Love it when they provide a variety of Mexican sauces for you to try. Really adds to the whole experience. P.s try the ghost pepper sauce for the extra kick... if you dare 😛
