Pizza, Ravioli, Salad, Beef & Desserts It was an unforgettable lunch at La Pizzeria at RSYC! There wasn’t a single dish we didn’t enjoy from the start to the finish! What would I recommend? Everything! Go with a big group so you can taste … everything!

Salame ✨Salame✨ This pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s quite thin, but they made sure that it’s not too thin till all of the ingredients start falling out. The salame gave it a smoky and a tiny spicy kick, and honestly that’s the only ingredient needed to make this pizza flavourful😍 There is a lot of cheese included in this pizza, so for those who loves cheese and the cheese pull, this is the pizza you have to order! 💰: $22 📈: 10/10

Ravioli Spinachi e Ricotta ✨Ravioli Spinachi e Ricotta✨ I saw many people ordering this and thought it was pretty cool keeping ravioli in a big bowl covered in edible bread. However, it was slightly disappointing as it seems like it wasn’t a lot due to the size of the bowl. Also, the ravioli tasted a little doughy and undercooked, which made me cut out all the sides. The filling was made well though! Overall, this is slightly pricey and would recommend ordering order pastas instead. 💰: $25 📈: 6/10

tipo has hits & misses but this is DEF A HIT Been a while since I visited Tipo and didn't know their Bugis outlet renovated! It's so much more spacious and bright now💫 I was too lazy to build a pasta so I ordered a house special instead - Great Gorgonzola, and idk why I didn't try it sooner. The gorgonzola cream was sooo rich🤤🧀 and clung onto the mafalde well.

Tipo Pasta Bar🍝 Went to Tipo Pasta Bar last week and ordered their Linguine (Chilli Garlic) and built my own pasta - Pink Sauce, Garlic Chips, Smoked Chicken, Swiss Brown Mushrooms ($17.90 before GST and Svc Charge)!😇 Overall ratings 8/10! Pasta was not bad but nothing too fancy🥹 Flavour of the pasta itself mentions chilli garlic too but it dosen't taste like it (staff did mention that the flavour is very mild tho haha) Would visit again only if I am craving for pasta😅

Pasta! Visited Tipo Pasta Bar for the first time! Realised that their pasta menu is actually very similar to Tipo Strada! Both outlets have the build your own pasta menu! The only slight differences for the pasta menu is the fixed bowl where their selections are slightly different! Here is what I tried this time round: -Absolute Alfredo for Gemelli (parsley pasta) [$17.90++]: Love their creamy white sauce! This came with swiss brown mushrooms and chicken (which was more like steamed chicken to me than "smoked chicken") -Build your own pasta: Linguine Chilli Garlic Pasta + Aglio Olio + White Clams [$14.4++]: Free toppings were included and we added ALL and it was a WRONG choice lol! The toppings added were chilli flakes, extra virgin olive oil, garlic chips and birds eye chilli. The addition of the birds eye chilli and chilli flakes plus it was a chilli garlic pasta SUPER FIERY! I couldn't stomach more than 3 scoops of it whoops! Lesson learnt, just stick to adding garlic chips only the next time!

Signature Thai Kway Chap | $6 First time trying Thai Kway chap and I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the peppery broth which was a refreshing change from the herbaceous flavour, reminding me of a bak kut teh broth. But the ingredients in Thai Kway chap were also interesting, with pork slices, pork belly, and fish sausage - all of them were very good!! Really liked the Kway here as well, soft but slightly chewy, and they come rolled up which makes it easy to eat with just a spoon. Rate:🌟🌟🌟🌟

Korean food! First time at Vision Exchange area! Didnt know that there were so many restaurnts here! We tried the korean food at AHTTI Korean Restaurant! Ordered the following food items: -Seafood Soft Tofu Soup with Rice - $15++: This was stated as mildly spicy but it turned out to be quite spicy for us, even when we do take spice quite well! Came with egg tofu, clams and a crab. Was looking for prawns in this bowl of soup but sadly there was none -Stir Fried Squid and Pork Belly with Rice - $15++: Very nicely marinated, and came with PLENTY of sauce (which made it abit slightly salty) They are actually famous for their fried chicken! However, we found the portions of chicken too much to be shared amongst just 2 pax as a side. So come in a big group if you want to try their fried chicken! Their menu is also slightly cheaper for lunch time!

Stir-fried Pork Belly with Rice was on the saltier side, but pairs nicely with the side of purple rice (seriously v fluffy, one of the most amazing rice i’ve had). meat was too fatty for our liking though.

Ganjang Fried Chicken 5pc the fried chicken here always hits the spot! :) came down during lunch instead of dinner for a change, only to find out that they had different menus for lunch and dinner. didn’t manage to order the kimchi pancake that my friend was craving :(

Beer Battered White Bait Yummy side dish, very addictive with the wasabi snow. Crunchy yet soft to the bite. Goes well with the Mayo that comes with it too.

Sakura Ebi Capellini It’s like having atas prawn noodles. This one has a strong prawn taste which is complemented with toppings of Sakura ebi, shredded nori and Bonito flakes.

Wah Guys This Was A Damn Good Bird I came here for this bird and I was pleased with the bird.

Char Siew Wanton Noodle A quiet neighbourhood along Sembawang Road, where you could find some eateries around this area. Wong Chiew is one of them and has been here for many years. serving daily with their selection of Chinese foods in a coffee shop setting. But many people also come here for their tze char, which they also have an air-conditioned unit beside. I’m here during the day to grab some lunch, so gotten their char siew wanton noodle. Which I won’t say it is decent, but enjoyable meal. Their version seems very sweet because of the sauce. But the char siew is very juicy.

Back to Wong Chiew Restaurant for their XO carrot cake. Soft and moist coated with XO sauce and crunchy bean sprout and egg. 💰$6 📍Wong Chiew Restaurant. 19 Sembawang

Found nearby restaurant for Dim Sum and Hong-Kong dishes, its called Wong Chiew Restaurant. Beside that also have Claypot rice. I ordered the dim sum and XO carrot cake (its soft,with a light flavour of XO sauce and crunchy bean sprout and egg. The dim sum started price from $3.2 while the XO carrot cake is $6. 📍Wong Chiew Restaurant. 19 Sembawang Road.

NZ Ribeye Steak @$24 No GST. Ribeye Steak comes with house salad & a side of your choice. Steak was cooked to the perfect medium. The steak was flavourful, tender and has a favourable fat ratio. The ribeye is definitely my favourite part of the cow. Brown sauce was rather meh thought, would be better with black pepper sauce, or some cream-base house sauce.

Steakgrill Nice juicy steak, good lunch deal

St Louis Ribs Applewood smoked ribs served with in house BBQ sauce. Comes with a house salad and one side. SteakGrill uses the slow cooking method to cook their meats in order to ensure every bite is absolutely delectable, perfectly cooked and juicy. The ribs are smoked well and tenderly done with a good combination of fatty and lean meat that goes well with the bbq sauce. The creamy and cheesy mac and cheese are served warm that come in a good portion as well 》$16 They can get really crowded during peak hours so do remember to make a reservation to secure a table and avoid disappointment before heading down.

Legit and affordable Thai fare Came back again (the previous review was mine a year ago lols...). Very very affordable and authentic Thai food in the neighbourhood but be prepared to wait for one out of the few tables. Tomyum seafood soup was hearty and delicious. Crab meat omelette had decent portions of crab meat inside. Pad Thai was average and Ngoh Hiang Balls were alright, just balls of paste. Also had the basil chicken rice and sambal french bean - both were good. Total came up to $40 with a Thai Green Milk Tea, how worth is that!

Cheap and good Thai Discovered this neighbourhood Thai eatery and it was surprisingly good. Tomyam Seafood Soup (Thick) $7 Sambal Eggplant $6 Ngoh Hiang Ball $4 Recommend the Tom yam soup, checks all the boxes. Eggplant was slightly limp but the sauce was spicy and good, albeit oily. Ngoh Hiang Ball had the Crispy crunch, but the insides was more like fishcake. Will be back to try the others.

Stirfried glass noodles with chicken The stir fried glass noodles with chicken was decent. I actually preferred this over the pad thai we had on our previous visit. A little too wet but good enough in terms of portions-wise!

Fried Egg Salad ($9) - absolutely divine! We are finally back for Thailand Street Food's fried egg salad! We love that the egg is crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Unlike the typical Thai fried egg, it doesn't get nauseating greasy over time. The best part of this dish? The sweet, spicy and tangy sauce drizzled over the fried egg with diced chilli, onions and tomatoes! I dare say that it is the sauce which makes the dish!
