The wagyu beef portion is more than other beef dons in other restaurants. Its texture is not tough and soft! Each slice of the beef is not too thick or thin, quite easy for me to bite 😁 generous portion of beef is the key of this rice bowl! ⭐️ The onsen egg is just nice and a bit cold (close to my preference) and the pickles are not too sour for me! :) original price is $19.90 but I used burpple beyond to redeem 1-for-1 promotion, so it costed me around $10 per bowl 😊 it’s worth to visit again for other pastries and drinks!

2nd visit! Although I am not a fan of chocolate, but I like this drink very much! The chocolate is not over m-powering the coffee. The chocolate taste is just right for me. It is not filling at all even though I drank this after my lunch :P it is refreshing to drink it in the hot weather!

Iced mocha - $6.5

The fried dory fish is crispy and not oily! The outer layer of crisp sticks with the fish so they don’t separate when u cut it. They have about 6 sauces for you to dip your fish, chips etc! Such flavours like curry, wasabi, salted egg, cheese etc, which are hard to find in other restaurants or fast food chains. However, the mashed potato texture is a bit tough, and tasted like pre-made ones, so this is a bit disappointing.

Student meal; small catch - around $5-6

At first, It was quite disappointing because I tried their new beef soup base but it taste bad. For the meat, The prawns’ size is quite big (unlike other buffets whereby they serve you smaller size of prawns). The beef is soft and juicy, but it became very small piece after it cooked. The variety of the food overall is acceptable. There is a waffle machine for you to make pandan flavoured waffles. It is one of the most affordable buffet in town (around $30/pax). If you are on Budget and want to eat a big feast, you can give a try for this mootaka buffet in air-con area.

The portion is a bit small to me, especially when I’m hungry. It tasted like a typical Unagi don, nothing special. (Except the extra avocado but I think it was a bit weird to eat with the Unagi). If there is no promotion from burpple beyond, I may not consider to come again.

Unagi avocado don - around $14-15

The caffeine is strong, can boost me up for the whole day! The coffee is not blend even thought it is iced. Although I am using 1-for-1 promotion from burpple beyond, but it is worth to give it a try even without the promotion! :)
