Oooh!! What a flavourful meal after a nice walk around Gardens by the bay! Fragrant spicy beef and rice!! Went well with the spicy achar, keropok & ikan bilis! ($9.90) A tad expensive for beef rendang nasi lemak, but We were after all in the beautiful gardens by the bay!
My friend from overseas came to Singapore and we brought him to Mellben as he was wanted some authentic Singapore crabs! We got the signature chilli crab and the salted egg yolk crabs! Really delicious with large meaty crabs!! The hotplate tofu was very appetizing as well! Yummm! Our total bill was around $100 which was pretty reasonable! The only downside was that it can get pretty warm on a hot day! However, my friend went back very happy!
Came for brunch and really enjoyed the vibes of this place! At the Robertson Quay, and there was quite a crowd during the weekend, but we managed to get a table quite quickly. I had the eggs benedict -brooklyn style with stew beef which was delicious! ($20) and my hb had the Brekkie of Champions($25) The portions were pretty decent especially when we used entertainer which had 1 for 1!
Senso has always been our frequent place for our weekday italian datenights! My favourite and usual is the Taglierini Neri O Bianchi- Squid ink Talierini Pasta with boston lobster($38)! Its so delicious especially with its tangy tomato sauce with chilli flakes and basil! They used to have 50% with the amex card and 1 for 1 with the entertainer but they took it away. Still reasonable priced without the promotions. The ambience & venue is wonderful too! Dimly lit with perfect service!
We happened to chance upon this little gem! $4.50 for a plate of tender, flavourful chicken rice with a big portion of fragrant rice!! The chilli was on the spicier side & gave that extra flavour! However, we did have to share tables with others as the place was quite small and there were a continuous flow of customers! Will defo come by again!
We did a takeaway and I loved how the chicken rice was in that old school packet takeaway! The half chicken ($16) was pretty reasonable and was plump, juicy and very tasty!! Loved the generous sauces -The chilli was good and not extremely spicy too. & whats chicken rice without the ginger shavings! Yum! We had the tofu dish($10) and it was not bad but not the best we had.
Came for a weeknight dinner and also used our entertainer 1 for 1 , however they were having a 1 for 1 pizza and pasta promo as well! Delicious Al dante pasta with a good portion of seafood! It would be great however to have more delicious fresh pasta. We ordered the Sofia pizza which had seafood as well and loved the thin crust pizzas! Great value with the 1 for 1 deal!
Had a quick lunch before my flight & food came out fast & hot! Yum! Loved all the dimsum & the century egg poridge!
Delicious Springy wanton noodles even after I did takeaway! However I would prefer if the portions were abit bigger!
Had cravings for Japanese and wanted a nice sit down quiet dinner! They were having a promo where we get $12 off for the omizu buffet which was($37.90) after the discount! Show them the promo off the website! Really fresh sashimi & a great variety of food!! Delicious & totally satisfied my japanese cravings!! I think this will be one of my frequent places to go!
Deeeelicious, Value For Money & Pretty authentic korean Food In Chinatown!! I Think this has to be My New Favourite Korean Restaurant! My Seafood Stew Came Bubbling Hot With Lots Of Seafood! Sides Were good As Well And we could get free flow salad from the salad bar too! What I really liked was the smaller portions of seafood pancake - just right for 2 persons for ($8 ish). Usually at other korean restaurants we have to order a large pancake for around $20 and try to stuff down the extras! Will defo defo come again!
It’s always relaxing to chill at Starbucks with their great coffee. This time I decided to try their new Lychee cheesecake & it was AWESOME!!! I was pretty surprised at how good it was! Refreshing, pretty, sweet and just an absolute delight!
