From top left anticlockwise: Raw Beef (Tatar), Herring (Sledzik) & Sausage (Kielbaska). Each dish costs 8zty while each drink costs 4zty. Was a bit apprehensive about the raw beef at first but it tastes really good! Like tuna. Also ordered lemon tea, beer & vodka. At 4zty, it is super cheap. Please definitely try when you're here.
Recommended by the tour guide so we went. Apparently it's funded by the government so it's super cheap. But none of them spoke English fol so we ordered not so yummy stuff ๐ญ
My new love after lemonade ๐ The bread is super crispy. More than worth the 5zty.
Breakfast that became our brunch because the portion was huge haha. From top right clockwise: salami pizza (7zl), hawaiian pizza (7.50zl), vegetarian pizza (7zl), apple crumble (?zl) & chocolate cake (?zl). ? because I am lazy to leave my bed to check the receipt now. Really really like the apple crumble & it's so cheap ๐
Cute cafรฉ(?) with decent food. The bread containing my soup was super hard though. Not suitable for bracefaces like me. Ate only the lid then gave up. Spaghetti was good though.
Pierogi all day errday please! The beetroot soup tastes like warm juice & really bring out the taste of the ravioli that was in the soup. This restaurent is apparently an award-winnig franchise (say the provided travel guides & pamphlets). Food here is served in precise measurements so we had 20 pierogis & 9 raviolis in 300cl of beetroot soup lol.
Breakfast with the fam! Going light after Malaysia haha. Not sure about the price because papa paid. I like to eat here because papa don't da bao the raw fish if I don't come to the market with him.
My favourite amongst those I tried. It's very different from Singapore's version. If you like sour stuff, you'll probably like it. The small bowl costs RM4.
All these cost only RM23.95. Bought this share before our flight. Apparently it is also cheap according to the standards of the locals.
From top left clockwise: Rojak (RM4), Orh Lua (RM10), Char Koay Teow (RM6), & Curry Mee (RM5). Think the food here is somewhat overrated? I like the rojak the most. Penang's char koay teow is not sweet so it tastes like those you can get from the economic noodles stall in Singapore. The curry mee had lots of ingredients but the curry wasn't fragrant. It basically just tastes like chili noodles.
Wasn't planning to post this (this picture was taken much belatedly) but this is too spicy for me not to post haha. S & I admit defeat to this store for their tom yam ๐
Super shiok chendul at RM2.50 only. Went back for a second time this morning. Was served by the boss this time & he was much more generous haha so try to go when it's less crowded? Fyi, there's actually a blue store nearby where you can sit & enjoy your chendul.
