Located near Jalan besar Stadium and alot more cafes nearby (great for cafehopping around), went to visit on a rainy sunday morning, probably the reason why the place was not very packed. Ambience inside the cafe was great with its cool dim lightings, but i chose outside seatings for natural lighting since the sky was turning brighter despite the rain... Food was great! Items featured in the picture includes: The Huat Breakfast $17/Charcoal pork burger $18/Earlgrey cheesecake $5-6 (can't rmb😅) Verdict: really love the food here. The pork burger was well executed though I'd prefer fries rather than chips as its sides. 10/10 would recommend, I'd make a revisit myself again😊 4.40/5.0

Located in the quiet neighbourhood of kembagan, i went early on a saturday and were one of the first few customers there. But the place was packed within 2hrs into operation. Its ambience with natural lighting through the glass roof is 10/10 for good pictures. The food is not bad, though it is not the best I've tasted.. the bagel is cold and too hard, the toast is better and imo, coffee is the best for this brunch. Items featured in the picture includes: The signature Wentelfeejes $10/Smoked salmon bagelwich $11/Cafe mocha $5.50/Signathure Flight Coffee $8.50. Verdict: I won't come here for brunch again, but more for their coffee and cakes. (tried their Strawberry matcha & thai milk tea cakes too, and it was good, especially the milk tea one😍) 3.90/5.0.

Decided to venture to another place for Bingsu, and after reading many bingsu reviews, decided to try out the recommended o'ma spoon whose ice is similar to Nungsongyee's fluffy snow-like ones which I'm quite particular about. Items featured in the photo includes: Mango Cheesecake Bingsu $19.80/Chocolate Brownie Bingsu $19.80. Verdict: In terms of accessibility, it has a better location since it's situated in the shopping mall. In terms of its ice, it has a fluffy snow-like texture which I love. The disappointing areas are its toppings, which were a tad too sweet, brownies which tasted dry and hard, and the mint ice cream which doesn't go with the bingsu I feel. Overall, it's not too bad though, but I'd still go back to Nungsonyee anyday. 4.0/5.0.

The first bingsu place I've been to, and since then I've became a loyal fan of it, especially with the majority of food bloggers I follow seconding on how nungsongyee is the best bingsu place in singapore. I'm quite skeptical about trying other places, when I'm just really happy with nunsongyee's. But of course after 3 trips, it's time to try out other places as well! Bingsu featured in photo includes: Black Seasame Bingsu $18.90/Cheesecake Bingsu $14.90. Verdict: These are really good with their fluffy snow-like ice and not overly sweet toppings. I would see it continuing to be my favourite despite growing competitors emerging in the bingsu field.. I'll return again soon! 4.50/5.0

At $19, this beautiful piece of food is not only instagram-worthy, but also has a huge portion and is so delicious I enjoyed every bite of it. (imo, it's better than paddy hill's version of hotcake) though both might have the same crispy edges, but this one is softer and has a less poundcake-like texture. Somewhere in the middle of a pancake and a pound cake? Furthermore, it has vanilla bean ice cream instead of cheese over @ paddy hill's, though I wish they could be more generous with the ice cream to go with the huge hotcake. But overall, really really love this berries ricotta hotcake! 4.30/5.0

Located in quite an empty building at Taiseng, it's of walking distance from the mrt station. The place was quite packed at noon, but we managed to get a seat immediately (there wasn't a waiting list) as a couple was just leaving at the time. ok. I'm just going straight to their food cos it's just too good. yes. especially their waffle pizza! Am a fan of waffles, mostly sweet ones but this savoury waffle certainly did not disappoint. Didn't get to taste the highly raved wings as I couldn't take spicy stuff. but my partner eating it had nothing but praises for those gorgeous wings. Love their new item, the thai iced milk tea too! 😍 Items featured in the photo includes: Jumpin's Ultimate Breakfast $15/Hawaiian Pizza Waffle $14/Honey Paprika Wings $8/Thai Iced Milk Tea $4.50. Total bill sums up to about $40+. Verdict: Love all the food I've tried there. Highly recommended and I would see myself returning.. if not for my quest to try more cafes😅 4.30/5.0.

Located along the thomson road with its stretch of coffee shops, restuarants and cafes, we decided to hop over to pacamara for a second brunch after our first brunch at habitat coffee, since it's really near. Am quite a fan of this cafe and it was already my second visit there. Of course, the usual crazy weekends crowd and we had to be put on the waiting list. fortunately we didn't have to wait long.. the tables are benched-like (not individual separate ones) so we had to sit beside strangers. I didn't really mind as the food is all that I minded 😂 Ordered the same french toast again and tried one new item on their menu, which were the lemongrass hotcakes that replaced the previous red velvet pancakes. But they tasted more like fluffy pancakes instead of the usual hotcakes I've eaten at 2 other cafes which had a more poundcake-like texture. Maybe they should name it pancakes instead? hmm. Items featured in the photo includes: Salted Caramel Banana French Toast $16/Salmon Royale $18/Lemongrass Ricotta Hotcakes (forgot the price😅). Total bill sums up to about $50+. Verdict: The french toast is still my favourite, egg bens was quite okay, but the hotcakes is a tad disappointing given its tempting name 😅 I would return for the french toast though! 3.80/5.0.

Located along the thomson road (known for its stretch of resturants, coffee shops and cafes located there),this cafe has been around for quite a number of years and also been on my to-go-list for a long time. Decided to go down one fine sunday and reached around 2pm for a really late brunch, but the place was still quite crowded. Lucky us managed to get a table outside without waiting for too long. Service was average (we had to wait for quite a long time) but the food was not bad, especially their pancakes! Items featured in the photo includes: MaMa's Banana Pancakes $10/The Big Ben $14/Eggs Tomato Relish $15. Verdict: The food is not bad, but quite normal though (not really a fan of the tomato dish though it looked quite tempting..) but otherwise the pancakes were quite good! 3.50/4.0.

Situated at quite an ulu location in the town area (orchard), it requires some walking and gps effort to reach the cafe 😅 Went early on a weekday and we were the only customers there. But of course, crazier crowds on weekends which we were lucky to avoid this time. The cafe white interior is really pretty, and there is also a boutique shop in a corner of the cafe. Ambience was great (especially when there wasn't any other customers and we had the whole place to ourselves) Service staff was friendly and service was prompt too. Food was good, I feel, especially the french toast, moist (not the harder kind which I don't really fancy) and not too sweet!😍 Items featured im the photo includes: Triple B $21/Smoked Salmon Crossiant $19/Brioche French Toast $14/Truffle Fries $13/Iced Mocha $6.50. Total bill sums up to $70++ for 2 pax. Verdict: The food is good, arguably mediocre with its higher price tags. But still worth at least a trip to have a try of their food! 3.70/5.0

Located at a small corner in the neighbourhood of bedok amidst shophouses and marts, (near the bedok reservoir, quite far away from mrt stations but still accessible via bus) this small friendly looking cafe is already bustling with customers on a sunday within the first hour of its operation. I had to be put on a waiting list for a while.. but it is definitely worth it with its affordable tasty food and quick service despite the crowd. Items featured in the photo includes all the recommended brunch dishes: Full Tank $13.90/Refuel Pancakes w smoked salmon $11.90/Meat Sauce Crossiant $8.50. The cafe doesn't charge Gst and service charge, and total bill only sums up to about $39 (including latte). Verdict: Really love the food here! highly recommended especially if you're an eastie, but it's still worth the travel (but do come early on weekends!) 4.0/5.0.
