the best thing on the menu I had the Elvis ($11) which had PB, raw cacao, banana blended together to form a thick & creamy smoothie bowl, topped with house-made vanilla granola. Also topped with raw peanut butter cubes which were to die for!! The top layer was rich pb & choc, and the bottom sticky crunchy layer was a mixture of crushed cashews, pitted dates & coconut.

change to gluten free toast!!!! was convinced by a friend to change the buns of the Portobello Mushroom Burger ($18) to Gluten-free Toast (+$3). It’s LIFE CHANGING SERIOUSLY. As usual, their potato chunks taste amazing esp when paired with their housemade mayo.

STANDARD DROP, STAFF DONT CARE Risotto was just severely undercooked !!!!! Told at least 2 STAFFS and they said errrr ok …. HOWEVER NO ACTION BEING DONE…. UNACCEPTABLE FOR A F&B restaurant. TRULY the worst food ever. Won’t even pay a penny for the food.

Grape Ricotta Juicy grapes sitting atop ricotta cheese spread on a fluffy and thick brioche drizzled with lavender-infused honey, topped with grounded pistachio and matcha powder 》$15 Other than looking interesting and aesthetically tasty, I find the taste pretty expectable. The taste of ricotta was light and the scent of lavender was stronger than the taste of matcha powder on the grapes. The grapes were fresh, plump and juicy which did not disappoint. I would say the toast was done so well that it did not turn soggy even till the last bite. Something light and simple yet pleasing.

Dark chocolate sponge sandwiched between dark and milk chocolate mousse, coupled with a crispy chocolate feuilletine base and finishing off with a chocolate mirror glaze🤤. Super love the richness and the added crunch! 𝐎𝐇! 𝐆𝐄𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀 is a light Hojicha mousse cake with an apple compote center on a bed of Hojicha genoise. It’s refreshing to pair the Hojicha cake with an apple compote, adding textural contrast to the otherwise soft cake. The Hojicha flavor is pretty subtle and I’d wish for a more intense Hojicha flavor to it!

Tamago Sando Since many people share about their tamago sando, so a perfect choice for the breakfast here. Featuring scramble eggs with egg at the centre, definitely worth getting together with a cup of coffee in the morning.

Nice and Chill Place to Catchup With Friends Tamago Sando looks as good as it tastes. The mayonnaise in the egg salad is not too overpowering. Cauliflower Quiche is great as well!

unique bbt in town 🥳 stumbled past this bbt shop while walking to our staycay spot. after reading some reviews, we got the korean milk tea and lapsang souchong milk tea which we were both pleasantly surprised by. the roasted taste of the korean milk tea is really strong, which was to our liking. lapsang souchong milk tea tasted quite normal in comparison, but it was a good cup of milk tea nonetheless. ps; the small and cosy shop was served by this lovely lady and they even offer free tea leaves for anyone who stops by their shop. too bad we didn’t have any containers to fill them in. will definitely be back for more ✨✨

Thirst Quencher We used burpple for the pure teas. Got peach lychee oolong and lapsang souchong. Amazed they had lapsang souchong haha. Really nice to walk by this stall on a hot day 🌞

Korean Milk Tea This tasted quite different from other milk tea. It has a distinct roasted and wheat taste to their milk tea which I like. Something different and this drink reminds me of a familiar taste which I still cannot figure out what was it 》$3.80

Unplanned Dinner Purchase Onsen egg is amazing! Got the truffle and misomayo. Truffle smell and taste was pretty decent in strength. Portion size is good!

Truffle Beef Don! Ordered 2 truffle beef don and comes with 2 cold green tea as well! worth it with burpple beyond!

Set Lunch Was Really Worth It!! Ordered the Mentaiko Salmon Don & Truffle Cream Salmon Don set lunches. Comes with miso soup & green tea (choice of hot/cold and refillable too). They gave generous portions of salmon and the flavours were really rich!! The set lunch price was also cheaper and we even got additional $3 discount each for flashing our student passes. No GST or Service charge too!! We each paid around $12+ each and it was totally worth it. Would definitely come back again. 9.5/10 👍🏼👍🏼

Mentaiko Salmon Don I finally tried their Mentaiko Salmon Don (cooked) ($17.90) after so long of wandering for at least 2 years ago. Back in 2018, I went to Japanese Curry Express for Salmon Mentai Don with one of my poly friend. She also ordered same as me that time but we didn't wanted to share together because the portion was quite small but its quite filling tbh. I saw @foodee.diaree's reviews for 2 weeks ago and reminded me the shop still opened at there till now. I preferred Mentaiko Salmon Don to be uncooked but my stomach got some problems with diary products (I didn't want to take risk anymore and need to play safe) I felt that it was quite overwhelmed with mayo but I felt that their salmon was really fresh and so good.

Wagyu Beef Don I did asked my friend about differences between Tanuki Raw and Rakki Bowl for Wagyu Australian Wagyu MB5 (Signature Truffle Wagyu Don) - $14.90. She didn't answered my answers lol. (probably I just want to know the differences in terms of taste and pricing) I knew the pricing differences between australian and japanese wagyu in terms of quality.

Delicious Salmon Don Tamago is sweet and salmon not overly cook. Overall food is delicious Just that the music play in the store is weird

Chicken Burger 🐱 - Chicken Burger ($22) The chicken patty is slightly oily, but luckily it’s not too dry on the inside — a common mistake in chicken burgers. The buns are nice and soft, the French fries crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the coleslaw is just, oh well, a typical coleslaw, nothing special. Also what’s with that lonely quarter-strip slice of the poor pickle when there’s room for more pickles…?!?!?!

Pancake with warm maple butter 🍵 - Pancake with warm maple butter ($20) w choice of blueberry (high recommendation), banana walnut or chocolate chunks. I really like their thick pancake but I managed to eat two of pancake pieces only. It was too much for me and good for sharing with people. The pancake got eggy taste and quite soft texture. The warm maple butter and blueberry sauce was really thick and sweet aftertaste. The sauce complemented well with the pancake 👍

Blueberry Pancakes We were lucky to try their pancakes before they close their Singapore outlet for good! The pancakes resembled that of mcgriddles muffins but more fluffy! The maple syrup was really thick and fragrant. However as the serving size was pretty big, this could get quite jelak towards the end. Nevertheless, still a wonderful plate of pancakes!

Swopping out michelin noodle Noodles where the feature is the pork belly or char siew is lost on me cos I don’t eat those. They kindly swopped out the pork for me today!

a noodle story i didn’t intend to come here for dinner but saw they had a promotion so i dropped by… and it ended up BLOWING MY MIND. noodles were very springy, and i enjoyed every single thing in that bowl - the egg, the soft chashu that is so soft it practically dissolves in your mouth, the ngoh hiang, fried wanton… and the wanton soup was great to cleanse my palate at the end. they had an outlet at guoco tower but it has closed unfortunately :( but so delicious 8/10!

Singapore Style Ramen | $12.90 The noodles were nicely tossed this time round with its melt in the mouth pork belly. The ngoh hiang is extremely flavourful but felt that it was a little too salty today.

Can't believe almost a month has past since we dined at Burnt Ends... 😐 It was tough getting a reservation towards the end of last year, but we were lucky to have scored one! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience. From small plates, main courses, to dessert🍬, the food was exquisitely presented and we loved the combination of flavours. Do try their Blackmores' cube roll🥩...it's THAT good! 😌
