The sweet mirin/soy sauce marinate makes it even more decadent though it can get quite surfeiting due to the thickness, so it's best shared with your friends!⁣

Chicken Curry Katsu (⭐️⭐️⭐️) The Chicken Katsu Curry is also decent with a crispy chicken cutlet and robust curry sauce, though a larger portion & more veggies other than the sad carrot smidgens would have made the dish even better.

Mentai Don (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) Can't go wrong with their Salmon Mentaiko Don either! The salmon slices were well seared on the outside while slightly raw on the underside, and the smoky char on the mentaiko sauce elevated the umami flavours.

B.S.M ($17.50) Top up with hashbrown for $2. I love that they were generous with the cheese, look at that cheese pull. The bagel wasnt hard and the sesame topping make it crispy. The scrambled eggs were well done. The patty was a bit sour, but not bad. The hashbrown was still crispy, definitely recommend to add it.

Horlicks Ice Cream Horlicks Ice Cream ($3.20) Smooth and milky horlicks ice cream from @lenglengicecream . Horlicks flavour was rather aromatic and texture of the ice cream was thick and creamy. Melting did not occur till much later into the dessert, which is a good sign that it probably has enough fat. Loved the ice-cream but I was way too full after pizza buffet to try this hole-in-the-wall dessert stand selling interesting ice cream flavours.

Coconut Ice Cream I know this has been opened for a while since I always walk pass this every day, but I never had the reason to try it, until one hot Sunday. ☀️☀️☀️ It is a little pricey for $3.20 if you are expecting some cheap ice cream given the name of the stall, but the ice cream is freshly made and the single scoop is quite huge. They have other premium flavours as well but they are on the $3.90 range.

Pandan Waffles with Gula Melaka Ice Cream The old-school waffles were slightly crispy on the edges that hints of pandan. The taste was slightly enhanced by the homemade earl grey kaya spread that tasted balanced and not overpowering. The gula melaka ice cream was sweet, creamy and did not melt very easily!

Dutch Baby Pancakes Chocolate and banana ditch baby 🥞 pancakes So happy to be meeting my sister for a girls night out over a lovely dessert . Called pancakes but actually more like fluffy crepes , this was enjoyable . The “ pancakes” were well executed and beautifully presented . The only thing was that the quality of ice cream and the chocolate sauce were lacking. If it’s a perfect dessert , then all components have to be perfect . The chocolate ice cream tasted like walls ice cream and the chocolate sauce was more like chocolate syrup rather than a rich genuine dark chocolate sauce I was hoping for. A little surprised as I thought that the Japanese owners would take care of little details as such 😊 Nevertheless, the friendly service made up for everything and the flexibility to choose your pancake size was a nice gesture since we just had a full dinner and wanted something smaller. Opt for the set deal and get their hot Yuzu green tea which was incredibly fragrant . A nice cosy cafe to rest your legs and get some girls talk done 👧🏻
