Fried Oyster I love oyster. This is my childhood favourite fried oyster. The first fried oyster I had was from here and you know there is always something special about the first? Not the best but they are still one of the better ones I had. Ba Chor Mee Fondly known as extension bcm to ntu students, this place is a well known supper spot. The bcm is honestly quite good (better than the one at Pioneer coffee shop, by fei siong), and I asked the auntie for more vinegar bc I love that sour kick. Noodles are cooked well!

Cold Cafe With Nice Appearance Of Bingsu 🍧 Gigantic Bingsu! Really a giant Bingsu. Me and my another one friend use up to almost 2 hours to finish the bingsu,you can imagine how big portion to two person! Worth the price with lots of fruits that I like eg Honeydew 🍈,Banana 🍌,Grapes 🍇,Watermelon 🍉, Blueberries and mango! And also hazelnut and vanilla ice cream on top.

Bingsu After Mains Have been visiting this bingsu shop for a while now, and would definitely recommend it. The ice is so finely shaved and it's milk ice! This is the janchi ($23), which is great for sharing within 4paxs and they're really generous on giving their fruits, especially having sooo many mango in the bowl! Together with grapes and blueberries! You can try their melon which comes with a watermelon pop sticker 😍 Avg: $5 per pax.

Come For The Ambience, Not The Food Tucked in a little corner within Istana Park, away from the bustling part of town, this place is a true hidden gem for a relaxing afternoon. Food and coffee was very average (though by no means bad- I did quite enjoy my scrambled eggs and buttered toast) and prices are fair, but the real reason to come is for how cosy and intimate this space is. Think: the warm sunlight streaming through the blinds, the reflection of the waters dancing playfully on the glass walls and gentle music playing softly in the background. Hotpot for 2 Got to say that my favourite part of having hotpot at Haidilao is having as much fresh garlic and chilli padi as I want in my sauce, its the perfect finishing touch to all the cooked ingredients 🤣

Yuan Yang Steamboat First try and impressed with the good quality of food, services and ambience. Although it is pricey, I felt is worth it. There are many varieties for the sauces and dessert provided are nice! Will definitely come again. But has to come early to prevent long queue.

Hai Di Lao [Price Varies] Super pleased about our timely late lunch decision at HDL today especially with that crazy pour! Haven’t been back for quite a bit and though a little disappointed with the lacking service today, the steamboat was still shiok. Forgot to take a picture of it, but I was obsessed with the spicy mushrooms that’s available at the condiments table. They had just the right amount of heat, so addictive!

Laksa Spag 🍝 Spaghetti with Battered Chicken and Laksa Sauce ($9.90) is a @griddysg fusion dish. Flavoured with less spices, it less like your usual laksa sauce. Instead, it's slightly sweet and spicy. Freckled with curry leaves, the creamy has stronger notes of coconut. Battered chicken is a breaded crisp that breaks open to tender, succulent meat. Douse a shot of salted egg yolk sauce over your pan of waffle gelato and vanilla love letter. Already, you're drunk on its aroma. (Funnily, the shot of sauce doesn't taste like salted egg yolk on its own!) Pull apart a bite of toasty thick waffle, and the dribble of yellow mixes with brown caramel sauce. Mop that up and take a pinch from your vanilla scoop. It's an outer crunch into a fluffy, buttery piece. Relish the slightly salty combining with thick, caramelised goo and a touch of cold gelato. Tantalising effusion of rich salted egg yolk sauce has you salivating as you eagerly pull up a forkful of steaming al dente spaghetti. You can't help but relish this as you stifle a moan. Savoury satisfaction is the mildly grainy gravy, fusing with the strong aroma from copious chopped garlic — which I thought could do better with less. Pull in a piece of the generous grilled chicken thigh and it's a bite into juicy tenderness, a balancing taste of spice marinade. I scraped my plate clean. Ondeh Ondeh Churros 3 for $5. Churros Factory serves one of the best churros in Singapore, what I like about it is that it can be shared with others easily and doesn't make it feel as though it is so sinful. Each churros is not too long in length and just nice. Very pricey but it certainly lives up to the reputation. Unique flavour and crispy. Palatable to the locals!

Sea Salt Caramel Churros 3 for $5. This sea salt caramel churros is on for a limited period of time only. Definitely one of the best churros that I have tasted in terms of crispiness and also there weren't as much sugar put on the churros. The caramel sauce over it was not over the top and it didn't feel too sweet. Certainly a good place to go to for your churros fix because it has churros that is good for group sharing and not a very filling dessert. However, it is on the pricier side.

Churros Factory A cosy ambience and efficient service. Churros were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The drink banananutella was tasty! Definitely recommend this to others.

Nutella Banana Milkshake Over-the-top milkshake which tastes as good as it looks. Sat atop are things like brownie, whipped cream, wafer stick, digestive biscuits and pretzels. Overall it is worth a try however the only waiter present that day was really impatient and rude and it ruined the service experience. Waffle With Ice Cream And Berries $28/ppax Nice cost place in forum mall. Relaxed feel and vibe Waffle was great and ice cream was fresh. Staff was also friendly. So 5 stars for the food. The downside was that waffle was not part of the menu, so we didn't know exactly what we were ordering and how much it is. In the end, got charged $18 for a very small plate of waffle and ice cream. So may not come back here soon.
