I used the burpple deal on the main&drink, but I think the waffles are the star here. Had the lavender waffles which had a noticeable lavender taste in the batter without being overpowering.
Black pepper beef pasta and hojicha latte were pretty good too.
Baked ricotta, spinach, feta and filo pastry served with grilled portobello and mixed vegetable ratatouille. I really liked the pastry, it has a good bite with the spinach and the cheese makes up for the lack of meat. Though it is vegetarian, it is not lacking in flavour at all. However, the price point is pretty steep, so I would probably only come back if there’s burpple beyond.
Cruffins are usually very sweet and cloying, but that’s not the case at all for this. The matcha was rich and slightly bitter, which went really well with the buttery pastry. Delish!
