Monday At Sunday 🙃 Cafe hopping at Sunday wasn’t in my plan, it was a surprise. Even on a weekday, the cafe is pretty packed and busy (that surprised me a bit). We ordered Matcha; Hojicha; Tamagoyaki Sandwich 🥪 However, the sandwich was a bad one because there’s wasabi on the bread :(( the combination is just so weird till we almost vomited lol

Rainy day and warm toast A great escape from getting wet and hiding in this quite abode with warm toasty bread and kombucha

Kaya butter toast Good coffee, thick toast with home churned butter and kaya and great environment What else could i humbly ask?

For a Quick Coffee Date After your morning walk with your four-legged friend at the gorgeous Desa Park City, cool down with a coffee and sammich at this cafe overlooking the park. It's all about bread here, so dive straight for the Chutney Cheese Sourdough Sandwich (RM13) that boasts a darn good cheese pull. Otherwise, the meaty Salt Beef Sandwich (RM18) on crusty sourdough will also satisfy. Wash that down with an Iced Black (RM7) or the refreshing Red Tea (RM7). Ps. Water is available for your pets! Salt Beef Sourdough Sandwiched between the crusty sourdough were thick slices of beef and pickles. Sadly the mustard smeared on the inner surface of the bread turned it into wet toast which was.. unfortunate.

Sourdough Croissant Not sure what a sourdough croissant is supposed to taste like, nor do I know what makes it any different from a normal croissant, but I think I prefer a normal croissant if all sourdough editions of the buttery and flaky pastry taste just like this. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not terrible, it’s just not amazing. Expected more but this was a little too dense for my taste.

Matcha Matcha Sakura (RM15) Always so happy to find cafes in Puchong! Thanks to one of the burpplers. I went with their recommended and I was definitely NOT disappointed. Their matcha matcha Sakura was so gooood.

For Good Coffee and Fresh Baked Goods in Puchong Folks of Puchong, say hello to this new cafe that's great for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city over coffee and pastries. On hot days, a must-order is the signature Matcha Matcha Sakura (RM15), a matcha latte filled with watermelon cubes and garnished with Sakura petals. Pair that with an order of Scones (RM9) served with strawberry jam and butter. They've also introduced some hot dishes like Omelette with Ham and Cheese (from RM8) and Scrambled Eggs on Toast (RM8) that make for a good breakfast.

Scrambled Eggs On Sourdough (RM8) Perhaps I have been utterly spoiled by Ebony & Ivory’s scrambled eggs, so I was expecting my eggs to be creamy and uber flavourful. It was good, not great, but average at best. Though I loved the sourdough.

Egg Benedict Food Taste: 8/10 Presentation : 7/10 Service : 5/10 Ambience: 9/10 Value: Ok la.. Instagramable! Reserve a table a day before.

nice environment The waiting line was fast, food was good, service was great, parking there was expensive, there’s people collecting rm10. Price of the foods (forgotten) 😅

Eggs Benedict As expected, eggs were perfectly poached. However, the eye-opener was the bunga kantan hollandaise sauce and beetroot-cured salmon. The distinctive character of the bunga kantan only presents itself when the sauce is eaten on its own - otherwise, its flavor merely complements the overall dish. Which is amazing, considering how domineering the bunga kantan can be. The same can be said for the salmon. The eggs sit on two croquettes - perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and warm, moist potato-ey fillings seasoned with chives and onions. Missus thinks the croquettes were outstanding. Avocado Cheesecake. My first avocado cheesecake! I loved the cake layering in between the avocado cheese cream and the sunflower seeds as the topping. It blended so well.

For Value-For-Money Comfort Food Located deep in Puchong Prima is this cosy cafe serving delightful home-cooked meals that are guaranteed to keep you belly-happy. Get their signature Mama's Rice Bowl + Soup (RM11.90) for a substantial meal for one. Each order comes with a soup, a protein dish (which changes daily) and stir fry vegetables. Arancia Fromage. Located in the depths of Puchong Prima, the cafe is a really antique environment and their cakes were all homemade. I absolutely lovedddd the mousse cake!

For Homey Korean Nosh in Jaya One This cosy Korean restaurant tucked in Jaya One dishes out home-style grub that is sure to satisfy. Start with the Kimbap (RM12) for a delicious seaweed roll filled with veggies, egg and sausage. For something heavier, get the spicy Ramyeon (RM14) with egg, or the filling Bibimbap (RM170). Ps. Bring a friend along and share the Lunch Set 1 Menu (RM42) featuring kimbap, tteokbokki, fried vegetables and two cans of Coke!

Fried Chicken (RM27) Pretty large serving of perfectly fried chicken! Love the plum-like dipping sauce it comes with. Great as a snack or to share.

Ramyeon (RM14) Perfect ramyeon for rainy days. I can never make it as good as the shops do! This portion was pretty generous for one.

Wagyu Beef Satay This is really nice.. a must have if you are there!

For Romantic Dinners With a View You have a hot date coming up, and you want to impress. Look to this new addition nestled on the 50th floor of the Naza Tower that overlooks the KL skyline. There are a plethora of different cuisines available on their menu from Japanese to Italian and Asian. To start, Burppler Jesius Enamourez recommends the Crispy Nori Crunch (RM28), seaweed topped with spicy salmon and parmesan shavings which she says is utterly addictive. For the main event, the Indonesian Bebek Goreng (RM42) served with a sambal trio, urap vegetables and fragrant coconut rice is a must-have. Blackbryd also makes their pasta from scratch. Roasted Grain Fed Lamb Chop Roasted grain fed New Zealand lamb rack served with Dijon mustard sauce, diced beetroot and creamy mashed potato. The serving was huge and the mustard sauce is really tasty. RM79 per serving.

For Pizza Done Right Decked out in retro shades of green and yellow is this laidback pizzeria in Happy Mansion doling out delicious wood-fired pies. Cheese lovers will adore the Say Cheese (RM32) made with four cheeses — Fior Di Latte, gouda, gorgonzola and Grana Padano. Other big hits with the community include The PM (Margherita, RM20) and the Big Brunch (RM32) topped with beef bacon and a jiggly egg. The PM This is a very basic pizza with no cheese. Just tomato paste as base and topped with roasted cherry tomatoes, garlic cloves, oregano and fresh basil leave. For people who can’t take cheese, this is a good alternative. This is RM20.

Say Cheese Every cheese lovers dream. Pizza with 4 types of cheese. Since the cheese is very stringy and soft when its hot, highly recommend to use hands. Not too cheesy in comparison to some cheese pizza. This is RM32.

For Fantastic Pandan Chiffon Cake There’s nothing we love more than a good ol’ chiffon cake, and House + Co’s superb version hits all the right spots. You’re here for the Pandan Chiffon Cake (RM18) and it sells out very quickly on weekends, so we suggest coming in the mornings to snag a breakfast slice. An Atas Nasi Lemak that can make it. I like the crunchy posh anchovies and the sambal was spicy! Beautiful space and peaceful enough for us to have a great catch up. Goodbye 2017, to a wonderful 2018!

Chocolate Doughnut Quite fluffy. Pretty generous with the chocolate topping. Not too sweet which is good. This is RM5.50.

Home is where the heart is . The Strawberry Lychee Rose Cloud cake is enough to make you high on cloud 9 in every bite. Its lovely texture and aromatic Rose essence complements well with the Lychee flavor. Strawberry was lacking in presence but the 2 other potent flavors just melts in the mouth so well. -8.5/10 (RM14.90) . Chocolate is absent in the cake despite what it holds, but the taste of the Earl Grey Buttercream is delightful enough to soothe the soul. Some mild diffusion of Lavender also lingers in the tastebuds to calm the nerves of one's hectic day. -7.5/10 (RM14.90) . Welcoming customers warmly with an astounding selection of baked goods and friendly smiles, you'll feel right at home once you step foot inside. Probably because its smacked in the middle of the sprawling resident metropolis of Mont Kiara, giving it a similar but a much toned down vibe. It also shares the same building as Kopenhagen Coffee too.

Strawberry Lychee Rose Cloud Cake Taking your mind high above the skies on every bite, the aromatic flavors of the dessert was perfect. The Lychee and Rose just completed well together. Couldn't taste much of the Strawberry though. (RM 14.90)
