This hidden zi char at joo chiat place sells the tastiest 三捞河粉 and XO fish soup. The 'wok hey' hor fun with big chucks of fresh fish and meticulously cleaned beansprouts made the dish a standout from the rest with just a few ingredients. 👍 Ordered a salted egg pork ribs to go along. The ribs were evenly coated with thick salted egg sauce and last leaves. To try the next visit: XO fish soup noodle!
Friday post run fuel - Tasty Fried Hokkien Mee with ikan bilis chilli and big chunks of crispy lard. I love my Hokkien Mee with an even mixture of yellow noodle and beehoon. The prawns were freshed and single-handed peeled n cleaned. One of the tastiest fried hokkien mee in sg! Shiok
Ordered green tea which was brewed in a cute Japanese pot. The small bites here were reasonably priced - the stewed potatoes were tasty. Plus, they served complimentary jap choc.
Signature strawberry soufflé and cacao royal. Flor just revamped their Duxton's outlet and the place looks bright and muji-like. The cakes were made of soft, fluffy sponges layered with not so sweet Japanese cream. Melts in your mouth. Love the strawberry soufflé more (:
Waffles - pretty normal but taro waffles?! Kinda disappointed when the waffle was just drizzled with taro sauce. It was an okay lah for me! Perhaps they can explore making taro infused waffle??
