Grilled food! Back at Taan Asian Grill Bar! Here is what we ordered: -Grilled Mentaiko Salmon -Grilled Surume Ika Squid -Enoki Mushroom wrapped with Pork Belly in Teriyaki flavour -Japanese Eel Fried Rice The unagi fried rice is my fav carbs items here! The grilled squid was soft and tender! The first time we were here, we used the burpple beyond deals to redeem 1 for 1 on 20 skewer sticks! Go to place for Frozen Yuzu Beer! Great frozen beer - thick layer of foam was almost like an ice-blend consistency. Happy hour promo of $26 for 2 glasses was pretty worth it. Yuzu recommended, lychee was quite strange. Skewers wise, we ordered the Set of 8 for $15 which was quite worth it and we were very satisfied with the taste. Pork Belly, pork ribs, chicken wings, potato slices were all good. Added on the Foil-wrapped enoki ($6.90) and we loved the garlic topping.

Hammydinger - Hammydinger ($14) Turkey ham and chicken ham were slightly thick and goes well with the egg. The tomatoes were juicy and the egg was the same as above (creamy!!). We only had the plain bagel because all other bagels were oos:( The plain bagel was..plain but I love how they toasted it and it was still crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. It would be better if the bagel had more taste.

Garlic Salmon Garlic Salmon ($15) Fresh, creamy and buttery Hokkaido Milk Scrambled Egg with a generous serving of smoked salmon! The egg was thick and creamy, and the cheese was melty and stretchyyy. Plain bagel was soaked in the truffle mayo sauce so it was quite soft and toasty!

Garlic Salmon Bagel (KAI KAI - $12.90) (UP - $15) I finally understand the hype for this bagel shop located at curbside crafters and everyone included the boothers they also order while doing booth at level 1 and 2. I just like their fragrant butter bagel paired well with their ingredients (Garlic Salmon). I enjoyed their marinated garlic salmon and it's freshly made daily and got no bad smell from salmon. Their scrambled egg was quite not that oily but creamy when serving in hot.

Ondeh Cake & Truffle Mushroom Pizza Their desserts were generally good. The pizza was passable.

Buffet plate Chilli crab mantou, prawn taco, carrot cake sticks, jade dumpling, siew mai, har gow, banana cake, tart. Decent and interesting spread for high tea. I loved the carrot cake but I wished the taco and mantou were better.

Buffet plate Kueh pie tee, scallop, satay, smoked salmon, ginger chicken roulade. Decent and interesting spread for high tea. The satay is chunky thigh meat, I love the roulade and I always appreciate free-flow kueh pie tee.

Iced Mint Mocha Iced Mint Mocha at Tolido's Espresso Nook is a refreshing masterpiece! The perfect balance of rich espresso, velvety milk, and invigorating mint flavours creates a delightful summer treat. Visually stunning, with mint leaves and chocolate powder, making it Instagram-worthy.

Pumpkin spice latte Seriously can't take any pumpkin spice at all. There's a little bit of nutmeg on top. They took our feedback and made us another cup. Very nice but honestly both taste exactly the same lol no pumpkin spice

Brownie Blackout brownies are all good, this one is abit too sticky-dense and outside isn't the most crispy, so not top tier. But still enjoyable

Matcha Latte ($5.50) it's smallest cup for their size but then its looking cute and mini size tbh. its taste sweet, milky and not that "bitter" type one for matcha.

Cosy quaint + good coffee Stopover for coffee after lunch on a weekday - crowd came about 3pm for tea break. Cosy quaint cafe with minimalist tad industrial interior. Nice cold brew!

Pretty dessert Went to Luna again after some time and got their classic Luna 2.0 ($9) and got Blossom ($9). The Blossom is like a standard lychee cream which is alright but not wow enough. However, the Luna 2.0 is their OG and I like the richness of the chocolate and the cruchiness hazelnut

Peach Tea Pretty looking tart. Nice nice. Not heavy but tasty.

Crab parpadelle ($36) 🦀 5/5 This date night favourite may not have a distinctive name but Pasta Bar sure delivers. Their $30+ pastas pack so much flavour in their delicate portions that the 2 of us didn't regret splurging on 3 pastas during our exclusive night out here. This dish was the star of the night, and could be found on everyone's bar counter. The pasta looks strikingly jaundiced but don't be put off! Its colour probably has something to do with its deeply umami flavour. This was so unique we should have ordered 3 of these.

Tagiatelle ($34) 🍝 4/5 We thought we should get a pasta with a little meat so we ordered this tagiatelle full of tender, thick clumps of pulled beef. Definitely a delight for the senses but it couldn't beat the crab.

Ciriole carbonara ($34) 🥓 4/5 We were greedy for a third so we tried the ever-safe choice of carbonara. The ciriole sure was thick and chewy and definitely lent a unique house-made dimension to this dish. The carbonara was done the authentic dry style which was satisfying with the cheese at first but got a teeny bit clumpy in the end.

tipo has hits & misses but this is DEF A HIT Been a while since I visited Tipo and didn't know their Bugis outlet renovated! It's so much more spacious and bright now💫 I was too lazy to build a pasta so I ordered a house special instead - Great Gorgonzola, and idk why I didn't try it sooner. The gorgonzola cream was sooo rich🤤🧀 and clung onto the mafalde well.

Tipo Pasta Bar🍝 Went to Tipo Pasta Bar last week and ordered their Linguine (Chilli Garlic) and built my own pasta - Pink Sauce, Garlic Chips, Smoked Chicken, Swiss Brown Mushrooms ($17.90 before GST and Svc Charge)!😇 Overall ratings 8/10! Pasta was not bad but nothing too fancy🥹 Flavour of the pasta itself mentions chilli garlic too but it dosen't taste like it (staff did mention that the flavour is very mild tho haha) Would visit again only if I am craving for pasta😅

Pasta! Visited Tipo Pasta Bar for the first time! Realised that their pasta menu is actually very similar to Tipo Strada! Both outlets have the build your own pasta menu! The only slight differences for the pasta menu is the fixed bowl where their selections are slightly different! Here is what I tried this time round: -Absolute Alfredo for Gemelli (parsley pasta) [$17.90++]: Love their creamy white sauce! This came with swiss brown mushrooms and chicken (which was more like steamed chicken to me than "smoked chicken") -Build your own pasta: Linguine Chilli Garlic Pasta + Aglio Olio + White Clams [$14.4++]: Free toppings were included and we added ALL and it was a WRONG choice lol! The toppings added were chilli flakes, extra virgin olive oil, garlic chips and birds eye chilli. The addition of the birds eye chilli and chilli flakes plus it was a chilli garlic pasta SUPER FIERY! I couldn't stomach more than 3 scoops of it whoops! Lesson learnt, just stick to adding garlic chips only the next time!

Mexico by Day, Lebanon by Night Finally snagged a table. Some of the best pizzas I've eaten. This is one of their stars, according to the manager. It has pork belly "al pastor", chipotle base, poblano, pineapple, guac crema and chicharrones. It's like Michael Bay entered my mouth.
