Special Ramen This Tokyo's top chicken ramen tasted awesome. The broth was thick and flavourful, with a generous amount of ingredients. Price:$15.50

Tokyo No.1 Chicken Ramen Iâm not a fan of chicken ramen, however since they mentioned No.1, ok Iâll give it a try. One reason of my visit because Tendon Kohaku is full house and longg queue, so Iâm a spontaneous customer to dropped by Menya Takeichi. A sip of the collagen rich chicken broth is heartwarming. Make sure your ramen soup is hot so you can taste a full flavor of the broth. The bambo shoots, onsen egg and tender chicken slices was taste good. Rate: 7/10 Menya Takeichi Suntec level 3 Japanese Food Street

Ramen is still the rage in Singaoore. No matter what your pick in regional or preparation style. Itâs served here. A not-so-common variant is the chicken paitan ramen served at Menya Takeichi. Despite it not being the tonkutsu gut-bomb that stays with you longer than a cheese steak from Park Bench Deli, its still one to get. âą Made from chicken bones boiled for hours, the broth comes with an aggressive creaminess. The yolk of the simmered egg is gooey and violently orange and the slices of chicken breast are still surprisingly tender. Chilli threads add unnecessary but welcome pizzaz. Be forewarned that the thin noodles soften quickly so get slurping fast.

salmon with yuzu aioli not the best salmon don i've had, i went there with quite high hopes as i've read the reviews before going there. the salmon and rice was overcooked, the yuzu aioli was given in small amounts and it didn't really have the yuzu taste. dissappinted really, but i would go back to try their other dishes. taste: 7/10

Still one of my favourite places for rice bowl as I kept going back for their Yuzu Salmon Bowl ($12.90). Grilled salmon fillets bathed in light zesty yuzu sauce topped with chives, accompanied by two perfectly grilled baby corns and a house made salad. For those who like a more citrusy taste, just squeeze the lemon wedge at the side. Not forgetting to add on their sinful yet delicious Truffle Lotus Chips ($4.00)! âą Grilllo Address: 3 Temasek Boulevard, Unit 01-455, Suntec City PasarBella , Singapore 038983 #Grilllo #GrillloSG #pasarbellasuntec

Shiok maki đ Finally had my craving satisfied!! Went on a Friday night and the queue was so long that we decided to queue for sushiro but ended up waiting almost an hour which was even longer :-( decided to go for late lunch on Sat and waited for about 15 mins. Loooove the shiok maki $18.80+ for the eel one. Itâs sinful but really so so good. Decided to be adventurous and try the pidan maki $16.80+ but didnât really like it. Another must order which I forgot to take pic is the salmon fish head soup (sake atama soup $10+). The portion is so big and the warm soup just makes the meal more hearty. Spent about $27 per pax as we ordered agedashi tofu $5+ as well which could have been skipped given that there was tofu and vege in the soup. A must visit, no service charge!

Saffron Klaadkaka ($9) Swedish brownies are known for their ultra chocolatey richness. What if we took out the chocolate and introduced one of the world's most expensive spices, saffron, into it? We, or rather I, would be really curious on how it'd fare. (Btw, this was part of Fika's seasonal menu for Winter) Mildly sweet, with a subtle woody, smoky flavour (if that makes sense) from the saffron. Pretty gooey too, much like how a traditional Swedish brownie should be. I think I could have it without the dollop of ice-cream and chantily cream the next time. They didn't push the taste to newer heights. I would say it's a little too pricey for the portion though. If it weren't $9 for a size smaller than a Daim cake at IKEA, I'd come back for more. đ€ (7/10)

Missing my smoked salmon crepe I had at @fikacafesg The crepe was thin and fragrant. Though I wouldn't be able to finish off both pieces. The smoked salmon was fresh and practically melted in my mouth. The distinct smoky flavour and aroma was extremely appetizing to me. Fika was practically empty when I visited it on a Saturday at 1130am but their food and delicious cakes will definitely make anyone revisit them in the near future! đđđ

Fika Swedish Cafe and Bistro's Lunch Set, Korvstroganoff - $21 and Tunndrödsrulle - $22.20. Interesting choice of soups such as Blueberry and Rose. The korv stroganoff (sausage in cream cheese tomato sauce) and Tunndrödsrulle (bratwurst + flatbread) were not bad, but to be honest, I expected more for the price. đ The best dish was definitely the dessert (not shown), with awesome cookie-base chocolate brownies. Lastly, the service was excellent and very helpful đ while the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. đ Overall a good dining experience. đ

Must Try Halal Food In The Area Had the Laksa Pasta with choice of Penne. So good and must order. Creamy laksa base which goes well with the Penne and generous amount of different seafood given. Worth it and will return to get it! Ordered the Truffle Shoestring Fries as well which was very fragrant and addictive. Do get it!!

Truffle Mushroom Pizza Service was great, but the food is slightly on a pricier side. This thin crust pizza is suitable for 1 person or as a side for sharing. Expect a pungent truffle smell as it is drizzled with the oil but not too overpowering when consumed. Overall, it is well cooked as egg is runny. Good experience.

Sop Buntut Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut is the place to be at this Ramadan! This spot brings authentic Indonesian-style fried duck to Singapore, and theyâve truly mastered the art. Each duck is marinated for 24 hours in a blend of traditional spices, then fried to crispy perfection with a juicy, tender inside. Apart from Bebek Goreng, their Ayam Penyet, Ayam Bakar, Sop Buntut and Tahu Telur are not to be missed too! I absolutely enjoyed the custom experience from the sambal offerings. With five levels of heat to choose from, you can customize your spice experienceâwhether youâre into something sweet and mild or craving a serious kick!

A Spot Of Lebanese Lunch Checked out a new place for lunch and was pleased with the fresh and tasty Lebanese cuisine. The Mezze Platter ($25) features sprightly tabbouleh, creamy hummus, smoky babaganoush, a fatoush salad and crispy falafel. Simply perfect for sharing. Just order some pita bread (I think it's $4 for 2 pcs) and start wiping up everything with it. If you aren't into very firm, chewy and salty cheese, I suggest you skip the grilled haloumi. I don't mind it myself personally but the one at Artichoke is much, much better.
