✋Slices of Dark & Original Cake These slices Original ($7.80) and dark ($8.80) are successive layers of sponge and truffle cake melded together, and with a sifted cocoa powder top layer. I usually like my chocolate dark (~65-70%), so the milk chocolate version was on the sweet side. The dark chocolate slice was slightly better in taste through it probably wouldn’t meet the chocolatey standard to cure PMS. So for the price and taste, the ROI satisfaction: 65%

Chocolate Cakes My first time at chocolates origin but found the cakes a tad dry. Chocolate drinks were also passable.

Mango Pomelo Sago Probably the best dessert drink I tried. On different occassions, I had the Grapefruit one and yogurt drinks as well. So far none of them disappointed me. Very good quality drink!

Gambas & Guacamole Sautéed tiger prawns, eggs, guacamole, mesclun salad, vine cherry tomatoes & sourdough. Since I had my eggs done sunny side up previously, I decided to go with scrambled eggs for this to try the difference with nuyolk eggs. The eggs did turn out more orangey than usual but I preferred the yolk on my sunny side up where I get to taste the creaminess of it. The prawns were grilled until fragrant but a little overcooked as the shells were sticking to the flesh. I love the guacamole for its creamy texture, mildly sweet and nutty flavour. Smoked Salmon A nice cosy place to dine and chill over well-ventilated and sheltered outdoor seating. They serve a limited brunch menu till 3pm on weekends and PH. The smoked salmon came with two eggs done in my choice of sunny side up, dill mayonnaise, mesclun salad, vine cherry tomatoes & sourdough. They use nuyolk eggs which have multi benefits and a distinct orange yolk. I also like the use of tomatoes on vines instead of the usual cherry tomatoes. Just simple and no-frills brunch with premium ingredients used. Perfect for my late bunch where the portion is not too heavy and filling. This is even better with the Beyond deal. Spanish Seafood Risotto @$29 Both of us are such suckers for Risotto, especially for Seafood risotto. So what attracted us to try out black cherry, was that there's a 1for1 risotto here. The seafood was fresh and the Risotto, tasted like it had a spa day soaking in prawn broth. It was Tasty good. Black Cherry is located at Bijou, a mixed development residential Condominium located within walking distance from Pasir Panjang MRT.

Rosti 😍 Pretty Rosti with crispy bacon. We sat underneath the tree which was pretty cool. Chill spacious place and it was easy to hold a conversation. We had the 1-for-1 for the espresso based drinks and topped up for ice.

Double patty cheezeburger Huge bun and a double patty hiding in the middle. We topped up for ice for the iced latte.

Perfect cuppa! Latte was nicely brewed with beautiful latte art! One of the must try coffee deal in Burpple! :)

Delicious cakes - yuzu osmanthus with a layer of jelly inside and cactus cake With burpple, it makes this meal even sweeter!

The cactus (tart) You don’t have a reason not to try Keong Saik, especially since it’s on Burpple!

Rocky road soft serve shake $7.9, Cold Brew Soft Serve $6.9 Worth with burpple beyond! The rocky road soft serve shake was not chocolate based, but tasted like raspberry and marshmallows. It was not too overly sweet, with a nice sweet flavor coming from the raspberry syrup (?) and vanilla soft serve they used. The shake was really well blended, so smooth without any icy bits. It was topped with whipped cream and some mini marshmallows. The cold brew soft serve was really smooth and creamy, and the coffee flavor was pretty intense but just right for a coffee lover like me. It was not too sweet as well and definitely a good dessert. The seating area was comfortable and spacious. Portion was good for sharing.

Brunch Brunch at Gloria Jean’s in West Coast Plaza which is opened 24 hours Waffle (S$5) topped with Salted Caramel Sauce and Twist (Vanilla/ Cold Brew) Soft Serve S$4.40 (Small)/ S$6.40 (Regular) The waffle looked great but quite dense to cut through.

Apple Crumble [Burpple Eatup] Another cake we gotten is this apple crumble. Soft inside but crunchy crust outside.

🥥 i dont really like this place’s coconut drinks. to me they taste abit sour,, but my mother likes them so 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

good bbt find had the coconut shake shake ($4.30) and the peach shake shake w/ tea jelly ($4.90). but overall both drinks were $4.90 in total thanks to burpple beyond 😃. rlly recommend the peach shake shake, was really good and the tea jelly added an extra flavour to it!

Single Scoop Waffle & Pot of Tea Single scoop gelato on crispy brown waffles with mini marshmallows, rainbow sprinkles, drizzle of chocolate sauce and icing sugar. I tried the Yubari Rock Melon and Hokkaido Milk gelato which were both thick and creamy. The Yubari Rock Melon was refreshing and milky, just like a combination of rockmelon and milk while the Hokkaido Milk gelato is just something simple, creamy and milky that won’t go wrong with waffles. The staff is friendly and helpful in recommending flavours based on one’s taste buds/preferences. Sampling is also available upon request. I also had both the peach and rose organic tea which was fragrant, refreshing and helps to cleanse the palate after some sweet treat. It’s a nice place to chill and relax. Foursome Ice Cream🍦 Went to Foursome Ice Cream & Waffle store & got the burpple beyond deal (1 for 1, waffle & pot of tea)😇 Added on 2 scoops of icecream ($3.80 each) and total bill was about $16.80! Really worth the deal as the the icecream flavours were good, the tea has flavours such as peach and lychee which was sweet and the waffles were crispy😄 Overall ratings 8/10 would definitely visit again for a literal cup of tea🤣

Nice…. Took the 1 for 1 waffle and tea, plus ice cream top up. Waffle is really good. Ice cream and tea are also good. Will come even without 1 for 1.

Yuzu Osmanthus I decided to try Yuzu Osmanthus Cake ($9.10) to hit delivery fee for grab lol. But then it's not worth it to do that unless I just grab drink only 😅 but I felt that the cake was just average taste for yuzu and osmanthus. (Not that strong taste for me) plus the cake was quite dry for me.

Hoji-Ciao I haven't tried huggs coffee yet especially their japanese series. I decided to try hoji-ciao (less sweet) ($8.70). I felt personally that its quite milky tbh and not much roasted tea taste. So I'm thinking that I should be trying Japanese matcha next time ?

dumptruck of an ice cream if ive ever seen one - piedmont hazelnut, cone (around $6??) was craving this some time back and decided to get it. never would i have thought that the staff would give me the biggest fattest scoop of ice cream i’ve EVER seen, like i could feel her dedication in scooping it for me and ong i was so grateful 💘 sad thing was that it got a bit too jelak for me halfway but worth it for the calories
