One of the best waffles I ate. It's not the fluffy kind but rather the crispy type. Wanted to get the watermelon soju but it was insufficient for a scoop. Thus we had earl grey lavender (definitely recommend and best!) and butter beer. Added on the salted egg yolk sauce! Perfect match for the waffle! This is going to be my comfort food. Most importantly it's near to home! Worth the try! Hidden gem in the eastern neighbourhood.
Loves the milk and honey gelato (not always available). Loves the crunch. It's like crunch ice cream with crisps. The alternate flavours I also like are Cookie Monster and salted caramel. Waffles here are awesome too. Worth the try if you have friends or family to share with!

The infamous Bedok 85 Market where many local delicacies congregate at one place. Was here on a weekday and all food was served quickly. Satay, Bar chor mee (fav store is Ah Poh instead of the usual 2 famous stores) and chicken wings are the must order for me! Ordered the stingray and lala from Chan BBQ. But honestly, standard dropped a lot and prices had gone up! Used to be $8 each for a small stingray and lala but now $10. Lala barely found much. Still prefer chomp chomp but not opened today. Hidden gem is the claypot. It's located at the third back row where usually shops are closed in the evening. The ginger spring onion sliced fish and pork are worth the try!
I ordered the set meal which comes with 1 appetizer, main course and dessert! Food served rather fast. Had a lobster bisque which I thought the lobster bit could be bigger. Squid ink risotto was meh, so so. Rice was hard. Could have cooked a little longer. The molten lava cake with ice cream was awesome! Bittersweet chocolate was to my liking. Chocolate was a little thick but mixed with ice cream, it was perfect! Would want to try the lobster roll!
It's located near the infamous Tong Heng Pastries. Weather was really hot and just nice for an awesomely cold dessert! Recommend the sweet potato bingsu! Came with generous portion of sweet potato paste and glutinous rice balls. The milky shaved ice was not overly sweet. Amount of sweetness was just right but recommended to share with your friend. Portion was a little too big for me. 👍👍👍
We waited over 1 hr (7.30pm to 8.45pm) for our main course to be served. Waiters checked several times but inavail. had Yuan Yang Risotto: Squid Ink Risotto and Truffle Mushroom Risotto, and Carbonara. The truffle mushroom risotto was sour but the enoki tempura and calamari are nice. Squid ink pasta was overpowered by the sour risotto. Carbonara was a little watery. Honestly, disappointing experience.
Tried the baby huey! Basic burger but the pickles which is their sauté onions in red wine vinegar was overly sour. Didn't really enjoyed my burger as it was too sour. Naughty fries was wonderful but too little toppings. Milkshake was great!
This is a reasonable priced chirashi don. Add $2 for an addition drink and chawanmushi. Chawanmushi is awesome when hot! Love the ginkgo nuts! The bento sets are also good with good portion. Love the Sake Teriyaki aka Grilled Salmon bento!
Nice ambience, but too many screaming kids around. Nothing could be controlled since it's alfresco. The Whisk Breakfast Plate was not available but was offered the promo breakfast set at $16.80 (which is much worthy as there were 2 meats and 2 veg). Came with standard items (means you can't choose) and could only choose the eggs. Note: Poached egg at additional cost of $2.50. Chose scrambled eggs but was rather dry, while my friends' ones were runny. Was a little disappointed with the inconsistency. Croissant and Ciabatta were over toast hence there were dry and hard. Overall, I would say don't choose the breakfast plate. Waffles will be better selection here as there were fluffy and freshly made. Took awhile to catch the attention of the servers and my breakfast plate took about 25mins to be served. This is upon reminding one of the servers to check with the kitchen. #tryingitonce
This is one of the good ramen in town. Expect long queue on a Friday evening. I ordered the non-spicy ramen. Unlike the usual pork broth, they use chicken broth which is rich and creamy! The fats in the meat melts in your mouth. The seaweed is different too! Matches the broth well. Egg is a must order but the one I had, yolk wasn't flowy. Ramen is perfectly cooked at my preference. Chewy and not too hard. You can add Garlic chips to your liking!
