great place for some after work chill dinner and drinks with a great ambience. had a medium ribeye steak which was surprisingly good! super tender meat and paired well with the charred brussel sprouts and hummus - definitely the highlight and must-try of the menu. they had a wide range of cocktails too with a very unique story and concept behind each of them, worth a try if you're adventurous!
this was suuuuch a delicious meal! had the 2 pax beef set which the staff would cook for you in-person. meat was so smooth and melt in your mouth 🥰 also added on the cold noodles which on first glance looks like any other but it was full of flavour and super tangy chewy noodles. really enjoyed this meal so much, such an underrated korean place amidst all the competition in the area!
very cosy japanese restaurant in the heart of CBD :) came here to try their lunch omakase - i was surprised that the basic set even included very fresh and delicious chuutoro and uni which were the highlights for me. dessert was a warabimochi made in-house which was extremely soft, pretty rare to see this in any jap restaurants! overall enjoyable experience and would come back for a nice lunch catch up with a colleague or client
a tucked away neighborhood restaurant with great food and cosy vibes! especially loved the mentaiko pasta - sounds like a common dish but executed so well. great springy texture and generous amounts of mentaiko till the very end! the pizzas were also a highlight with its chewy dough fired to give a delicious grilled taste. location is a little inaccessible but would visit again if in the area
overall a good dinner place to hang out and enjoy food and drinks with colleagues after work
got a grilled prawns starter, ribeye steak, octopus arrabiata pasta, and tiramisu to share for 2 pax. everything was tasty, and especially the tiramisu was a wonderful treat to end off the meal. however, i would not repeat the ribeye steak which was dry and overcooked.
this was such a wonderful dining experience - from the very cosy restaurant ambience, to the warm and friendly service, and finally to the insanely delicious food.
Beef bulgogi and seasonal uni (5/5): the uni was AMAZING. it was honestly as good as what i had in an omakase in japan. my only gripe was that i wish there was more uni
Jumbo tiger prawn (5/5): this was my favorite dish of the night. while it sounds simple and nothing special, the prawn was grilled to perfection and dressed with a delicious gravy that very literally had me scooping the plate clean
coconut chicken broth with prawn (5/5): at first glance this seems like an odd combination of ingredients, but i was very pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was and how everything came together so well. this was the most surprising dish for me and really showcased the amount of thought behind each recipe
though price is on the higher side, i would 100% come back again to celebrate special occasions with my friends/loved ones and try all the other unique dishes they have!
When you get amazed at the starter, you know the rest of the meal is going to be crazy good. The food didnt disappoint and the staff were extremely attentive to your needs
5/5 for date night
one of the best steak dinners ive had - every dish was such a huge surprise. the highlight of my night was the lamb rack that was extremely soft and tender, unlike usual lamb cuts ive tried before that are dry and tough. the gamey taste was strong, but it was so pleasant, enjoyable and paired very well with the seasoning. strongly recommend giving the lamb a shot, even if that might not be your usual choice of protein! topped off the dinner with the tiramisu that was so authentic and tasted amazing as well. overall a fantastic dinner and definitely will be back with loved ones!
had the steak which was cooked just nice to the doneness that i loved, and paired perfectly with one of the best fries i ever had in a restaurant. the ribs were sweet and juicy and at the end my companion and i were really craving for more! overall loved the ambience and food, and would come back for a casual date night ❤️
p.s. only thing is that they close early on weekday nights!
thoroughly enjoyed the experience here - service was fantastic from start to end, and combined with the luxurious interior and vibe, made me feel so taken care of while dining!
dishes were on the pricier side, but expected for its location in orchard. had the wagyu flank steak which was thick and juicy, rawness was just nice too (but note that you only have the option of medium cooked). scallop risoto was really flavorful and the scallops alone were so delicious and fresh.
heard that they came up with a unique 'fine dining in a kopitiam' kind of concept/vibe and was really excited to try!
we had a half-course (6 items) and was very pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the seafood! the hyugo oysters was absolutely my highlight so delicious and sweet i LOVED it. the turbot fish was something i never tried before and was definitely a very memorable dish too (the dish in this picture!)
overall a rly unique experience and a to-go for too quality seafood ❤️
ive been to other Fu Lin outlets and the menu here was actually really different (and delicious!)
ordered the seafood grill set which includes a lobster, squid, fish and prawn - all grilled to perfection (got the char taste yknow)
iberico pork was also succulent and wonderful although i wished there was more
cozy location in the centre of clarke quay - sad that there are some construction works around at the moment but itll be a great place to chill with friends on a friday night!
