prepare to hv ur bellies bursting!!! the food was super delicious too~ staff here are so genuine about the burpple 1 for 1 & were rly forthcoming in answering queries about the redemption.

had the ayam bertu ($26.80) which was half a chicken. the spices were strongly flavoured & lightly spicy which was enjoyable. chicken was meaty & tender also.

chicken mushroom risotto ($18.80) was slightly salty but both flavour & texture were good! the grains were not mushy.

very happy with the service & food! so worth with the discount~

guys 😭 i freaking knocked over my glass of passionfruit mimosa & not only did they clean it up for me they made me a whole new glass at no charge 🥺 okie but that aside, we had the burrata pesto pizza which had such a CRISP base & crust that was rly so easy to eat. rly big piece of burrata too so every slice of pizza has sufficient cheese~

the bacon gnocci was also rly yummy paired w the tobacco sauce! the beef pasta was not bad - the beef was chunky & substantial although i wasn't a fan of the pasta texture.

regardless, suchhhh a good meal w good service, good ambience! w a 25% discount off total bill, we saved $24 & paid $86 for everything on the table (ps the pizza was quite huge)

rly worth with the 1 for 1 promo! we paid full price for the tomyum soup but had the creamy omelette & crab claypot vermicelli at 1-1 price! total bill only $49 for so much food & it was super tasty too! the tomyum soup was tangy but rly q spicy ahaha could taste the chilli padi so if u can't rl take spice then 🙏🏻🙏🏻 the omelette had this topping that we couldn't rly identify but it was so umami & good. rly highly recco! 1h dining limit but they didn't chase us but also maybe bec it wasn't super crowded yet, so go early if u wna dine abit longer hehe

BREAD. GRANOLA. WHIPPED BUTTER. GREEK YOGHURT. POTATO EGGS. everything was SO GOOD i literally bought home a $25 sourdough loaf, $16 butter and $16 granola. ZERO self control take my money but rlly so so so good !!!! pls do yourself a favour & try! but be prepared to queue in the hot sun if u come midday :"-) i nearly sweated my entire body's water content out while waiting but worth! defo will be back~ maybe to buy the items instead of dining 💗

rly gotta give it to them for their pizzas - rly fluffy & soft crust that doesn't feel like a chore to chew or cut, and will have u unable to stop eating the calories. had the surf's pizza which had smoked salmon & dill & wowww the combi was js chef's kiss !!!! unfortunately the vodka sausage pasta was abit of a miss for me :-( not sure why but the texture was mildly crunch?y? but the flavour was ok! meat was pretty generous too~

WAH idk why i need to experience things for myself to believe but fr as all posts on lemon8 said, the scallop rose pasta rly abit overhyped.... 🫣 it's legit what u see is what u get. also the scallop abit fishy imo but i'm also not a seafood fan so maybe less reliable LOL. but it looks pretty la & it's not say not nice, the pasta wasn't soggy & the sauce was creamy & sour (tomatoey) enough. it's just like that lor, unimpressionable.

the beef don q yummy! i think abit stupid that they served the beef don v early then the pasta like a good 25 mins later only, like abit poor kitchen planning & the restaurant wasn't v crowded also

but anws service was rlyyy good! think people recco-ed the stock chicken pot & scallion oil pork dandan noodles. might be back to try that!

otherwise i think this wouldn't rly be somewhere i'd revisit 🤍

anyways the pesto was ok luh salty garlicy but if you're looking for the green grass taste it's not there lor. the cone shaped pasta q chewy (but not rly al dante... more like previously cooked then heated up in microwave type of texture) but pass la 6/10

w burpple i think can close one eye to the prices ($24 per pasta) but NO LA just pay full price at chicco pasta bar like 2 mins walk away pls 🙏🏻

the beef ragu was also super generous w the beef but unfortunately the pasta texture & flavour kind of fell short for me ☹️ i found it q boring & soggy

we got the cheesy baby (hot honey) pizza & the pork collar. pork was done RLY well - vv juicy & well seasoned (salty yums) 😋😋😋

pizza was not bad as well! the sweetness of the honey helped to lighten the cheesiness & greasiness of the pizza. also the sourdough crust was surprisingly light & easy to eat! as someone who always cuts her pizza crusts away, i didn't for this one!

total bill for everything on this table was $69! one downside is just that portions were on a tinier side but

went to the jalan besar outlet a few weeks ago -- had the dark sauce noodles & popiah ice cream (w coriander duh please have adult tastebuds) AND BOTH WERE SOOO GOOD!!! noodles absolutely chewy, popiah just chefs kiss 10/10

💗 got the beef noodles - soup was incredibly clean tasting but also v flavourful. beef was SUPER tender. noodles were v chewy just like the dark sauce one. highly recco!

great place for a cute little dinner & drinks w the girlies 💗 moscato was $12 for 2, highballs were $10 for 2 during happy hour!!! not too shabby either~

mentaiko pasta was actl pretty good - v generous amount of mentaiko sauce & tobiko! definitely for sharing though w the creaminess of the sauce 🍝

felt that the gyu sando ($28++) was a rly huge miss for me ☹️ def not worth it's price point at all... the beef flavour felt so flat & the bread was js white toast (kinda lameeee). it was rly a what u see is what u get

truffle fries were not bad! q normal but u will like it if u like thick cut fries, but rly nothing to shout about hahahaha
