LYCHEE OOLONG tried their Lychee Oolong💗 which is their new flavor. Both lychee and oolong is more of an after taste which i think they used lychee oolong tea to make the creme 🤔

CHICKEN BACON PIE Their Chicken Bacon Pie surprised me by how good it is💯 It’s meaty inside with cookie crust outside💗 served with salad as well 😋

10/10 vibes We read good things about the fish and chips. However, it turned out that the pork ribs and duck confit were better. The vibes, live music & service provided by the restaurant were great. We would highly recommend this restaurant to families and couples who wish to have a great time, especially if cocktails are your thing! Food: 7/10 Vibes: 9/10

$30 nett For Two Don Set Popped by Gyunami for lunch with my friend, and the standard of their Signature wagyu roast beef don is still as good as when I had it 2 years back! Portion size may look small but underneath the slices of tender wagyu roast beef, there’s a lot of rice. The highlight is definitely the thin slices of wagyu roast beef. It’s super tender, perfectly medium rare and goes very well with everything! Gotta appreciate the artful arrangement of the meat slices on top of the rice too 💯 The set comes with complimentary miso soup – taste was okay, nothing too extraordinary. There’s not much lunch crowd on weekdays so you don’t have to queue 😊

Waffle-licious The Waffle was fluffy with a crispy exterior and we had two scoops with it - Hazelnut and Yogurt Biscoff. The Hazelnut reminded me of Kinder Bueno as it was creamy, choco-nutty and had waffle biscuit bits in it. As for Yogurt Biscoff, it didn't suit my tastebuds as the yogurt taste was overpowering. Some biscoff bits would have been nice for texture.

Single Scoop ($4.80 + $1.20 for Gourmet) We got the Speculoos Apple pie and the Pineapple Cheesecake flavours - both in which we didn’t really like at all, unfortunately. They were Gourmet flavours so that was an additional $1.20 x2, which doesn’t count in the Burpple 1-for-1 deal of course. Almost all of the flavours here were either Premium (+$1) or Gourmet (+$1.20). The textures of the ice creams weren’t creamy at all which made the ice cream enthusiast in me sad. Speculoos Apple Pie had a very dry mouthfeel and tasted one dimensionally cinnamon-y. The Pineapple Cheesecake had an airy texture, similar to half melted whipped cream, and the dried pineapple bits inside were way too sweet. There were also chunks of what seemed like cheesecake but felt like sweet uncooked batter that stuck to our teeth a bit too much. Perhaps we chose the flavours wrongly - we were simply excited to try some interesting mixes and creations. I think the flavours here all seemed really creative and innovative (there was even kueh bang kit, how cool is that!?) but perhaps the execution will require a bit more fine tuning. I believe that the texture and mouthfeel of ice cream is very crucial and sets apart the good ice cream parlours from the average ones - you could have a simple flavour but still win the hearts of customers if the mouthfeel is on point. We visited on a weekday evening and the cafe was about half full. The interior of the cafe is cutely decorated, making the place a pleasant spot to chill with friends if you aren’t too fussed about the ice cream. The Burpple 1-for-1 deal makes the price a little more reasonable though be ready to pay extra as most flavours are premium/gourmet requiring additional top ups.

Should have requested no takeaway to save on the bag, plus the items were not box up.

Burpple 1-for-1 set Brought a friend to try his 1st impossible burger. The Burpple set was only limited to the Classic burger with 2 patties, some fries and coke/water. You can request for mustard or ketchup but there’s no chilli for spicy lovers. There’s no place to wash hands after eating. But it’s all good as the friend is no longer afraid of the impossible.

The Goodburger Food Truck 4⭐ Finally get to eat the Impossible burger from The Goodburger Food Truck. Company cater the food truck for the Townhall session. Each staff is served the classic burger, fries, nuggets and ice mountain water in can. First time seeing mineral water in can packaging. Well, this townhall is about substainability hence this menu for lunch. The patty taste exactly like beef except slightly grainer. I loves the brochie bun, it's so so so good. Burratina Orriechiete Delicious! Portions were good (not too large). I really appreciate their service staff. For this pasta 1-1, we also tried Carbona - it was very creamy and delicious, nice bacon. Easy to make reservations through Burrple/Chope.

Pizza Pancetta E Jalapeno $30++ My favourite pizza because I absolutely love anything with bacon and cheese! What’s even better was the white cream sauce they use instead of tomato sauce as the base sauce for the pizza, which gave the pizza the creamy and cheesy boost on top of the cheese toppings and made the whole pizza so flavourful with the bacon and the chewy pizza crust.

Vegetable Garbure Soup Their new ala carte buffet. I had forgotten such a soup exists and I really liked it. The chicken-based broth was flavourful. My other thought is French cuisine is very rich to be buffet, and I couldn't eat as much as I wanted!

Slipper Lobster Pasta ($23.90) Burpple 1-for-1 Deal at ~$30 (with service & tax) The tomato base sauce was rather salty but portion substantial enough for me with 6-7 lobster chunks hidden under the blanket of grated cheese. Simple dish ingredients with some garlic, fine slivers of red onion and cherry tomatoes. The service was not bad: they helped me takeaway the Tom Yam seafood pasta, cooked/ served close to when I was leaving to ensure freshness! 😊👍🏻

Chili crab pasta & R65 cheeseburger Had the chili crab pasta and R65 cheeseburger, which we were able to claim the burpple beyond promotion. And thankfully able to, because I wouldn't spend the original price for the food we got. Both dishes were mediocre - chili crab pasta had not much of that chili crab oomph, and the cheeseburger was barely appetising, the party was not juicy and just felt like an overpriced Macs burger. Water was chargeable as well. We didn't bother to get drinks cause we barely wanted to spend an additional second and cent in this place.

1 for 1 deals from Route 65 Bar Order Seafood Tom Yam and lobster spaghetti, Fish and chips and Grill Pork Rib. The Portion is quite small for spaghetti (not really worth for $18.90), the fish and chips come with the bitter chips (1st and last try for this), the pork rib taste good and is one of the best among all the dishes we order. Overall portion quite small, don’t really have any surprises in taste, not really worth it if without 1 for 1 deals.

Thai tea crepe At $8, the OG from Two Bake Boys doesn’t come cheap. Taste and flavour wise, given it’s a recipe from the owner, a Thai, it’s in a way, guaranteed good! The mille Thai tea crepe came served with a pouch of Thai tea drizzle, enhancing the tea-liciousness of the cake. Thanks to Burpple beyond 1-1, this is certainly way more affordable!

Birthday Came to celebrate my birthday and its definitely a good experience. Firstly, the staff is friendly and help prepare the cake when she know we are celebrating in the cafe. Secondly, the ambience is good to chill and chit chat. Lastly, the cakes are delicious. I love that the cake is not so sweet and the portion is good for 1pax. Will come back again :)

very pretty cafe!!! very well decorated cafe & cosy environment but had no one when we reached around 5pm. had their thai milk tea crepe cake & vanilla strawberry crepe cake for a total of $8 after 1 for 1 discount. the crepe cakes were flavoured mildly but the thai milk tea sauce helped to enhance the milk tea flavours so we enjoyed the cakes. it was a distance from bugis mrt station so we're on the fence whether we would purposely go back there again.
