Hokkien Mee Their Hokkien mee was legendary and we're glad they kept it after revamp. There are large prawns, chunky roast meat, sotong, garlic sprouts, good-quality lard and superb chilli sauce. One thing that changed: no more beehoon in it.

Wonton Mee Their wanton mee has always looked amazing. There's chashu, onsen egg, fried wantons, milk cabbage. It's sumptuous and the lard was good quality.

Ngoh Hiong This attracted us for its use of crabmeat and Kurobuta pork. But wu xiang being wu xiang, the filling was minced and mixed together. It tasted decent but I couldn't tell what I was eating. The sweet sauce was so nostalgic.

gnocchi more like yescchi uwu the truffle cream sauce is pretty nice, with the asparagus! the sundried tomatoes were yummy too. the pine nuts tasted like hamster food, wished it would’ve been toasted but my pal liked it. she said it’s “nommie nommie”

shots shots shots shots range from $1-5, and with a minimum of 10; but if u used burpple’s 1-1 for mains u gotta get a separate alcoholic drink off the menu if u wanted to get shots (we got vodka coke and gin coke). we liked the neslo, chendol, tequila, and milo especially ;) the staff and chef are friendly, they check up on us

Not worth to come by even w Burpple with many other delicious eateries nearby Calamari in pic— $10 but very tiny amount just size of palm only, not worth the price All oysters, scallop dish and many others weren’t available, that was a disappointment. That’s about half of the menu unavailable… Also ordered some clam spaghetti which was too salty, 8 hr pork belly which was very dry, rough and hard to eat, Mac and cheese badly seasoned and it was very gelat. barely ate everything, a waste of money. Spent $64 there and had a regretful dinner experience.

Cannot use burpple at all Guys please dont go if you want to use burpple. Saw review saying that burpple cannot be used for dinner, so i went down during lunch and we were informed it cannot be used too. Waitress kept saying she dont know about the deal and want us to order food first. After i insisted she checked before i order, she said they are no longer accepting burrple deal.

Cold Tofu with Century Egg Never mind if they informed me that Burpplebeyond deals were not accepted for dinner.I was very pleased with the large portioned, affordable food here! This place is a new found gem. If you are looking for a place to have hearty simple Chinese fare over $6+ Chinese beer in an air conditioned environment, you’ve got yourself chopstick kitchen to consider!

Lunch set $17++ Had the sichuan pork noodles, fried pierogi and salted plum wolfberry pu-erh tea. The drink sounded interesting but wasn’t as tasty as I thought it will be. Sichuan pork noodles had the taste of the right spices. What stood out for me was the fried pierogi. It’s something not commonly found in SG, the mashed potato and bacon mixture just taste so good together with the slight crunchy dumpling skin. Place is small, abit dark and really noisy. Will recommend to go with just a friend. Not exactly a place for date.

Chasu Ramen Noodle was soggy. Chasu wasn’t tasty. The add on harajuku egg was the best out of all. Even tho it’s cheap & nett price, wouldn’t recommend.

Chashu Ramen ($11.90) & Maze Ramen Dry ($11.90) Worth the 1-for-1 price. Delicious pork broth soup. The meat was really chewy and tender. 👍🏻

quick ramen fix it’s definitely not of higher tier textures and flavours, but it’s passable. the noodles were chewy, broth was quite thick and salty (could’ve added a lil more water), the meal slices were slightly slimey ahah but they’re inexpensive and filling ramen- you pay for what you get!!!

Great Coffee!! Got a little lost trying to find this place, do note to use lift lobby A in the mall to get to level 7! This is a quaint coffee/tea place to get a good cuppa and chill, situated next to Trehaus school. Really affordable drinks here tbh. Will be back☺️

Gyudon ($15.90) Honestly not expecting much from a “Western-Asian” fusion cafe but this is surprisingly good! Beef was cooked well and the sauce resembles teriyaki, but not too sweet. The way they made the egg is so cute and it’s a nice surprise to get a lava egg yolk 😄 Highly recommend to use Burpple for the 1-for-1 deal!

Burpple 1 For 1 I tried the Egg Benedict and Gyudon. It was to my expectations of how egg Benedict taste like. On the other hand, Gyudon was really good!! A definitely must-try dish. Desserts was alright (Chocolate and lavender Mille crepe cake) but the drink were slightly diluted. I’m definitely coming back for their main dish! Each person is about $15 for drinks and desserts. Ratings for food: 4.5/5 Ratings for price: 4/5

Really appreciate the good service and consistent serving size according to their usual (the portions are sizeable! 👍), nicely sautéed mushroom, fatty artisanal chorizo sausage and fav tater tots 💖

Overall good experience. Value for money, not bad but sausage and bacon were a little salty. $33 for 2 breakfast sets + 2 coffees.

Gashouse Eggs | $13 Finally had the chance to hit up One Man Coffee after being greeted by long snaking queues during their brunch time. Got lucky and managed to snag a seat for breakfast. Opted for the gashouse eggs as I was not feeling hungry enough for the bigger plates. Absolutely loved how they made it, cheesy on the top yet oozy sunny side up egg in the middle. I’m personally not a fan of sourdough bread that’s too tough, but this crusty rendition had a great chewy texture to it. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Gula Melaka Lava Cake The "cake" was more like a cross between a tart and kueh. There's some lava, but due to the cake's texture, the contrast wasn't that strong.
