After hearing so much positive review about this Indian restaurant in sentul, we trying out on a weekend afternoon.
My all time favourite order will always be a thali meal thay served with different veg and curry. Pairing with poori (puffed bread) instead of regular rice for a change.
Masala tossai here is different from other restaurant. The tossai is thicker and softer in texture. It do have a unique taste to it as well.
One of the cafe since the earlier day. Been revisit this place quite often for their hot chocolate drink.
Source from local farm, the quality of the chocolate drink here is 👍. Furthermore they do offer pure chocolate drink which doesn't contain milk, perfect for lactose intolerant
A special dish from this Chinese restaurant at Jalan ipoh that require a longer cooking time. The aunty that took our order recommend us to try out this dish and we are glad that we did order this.
Made with fish, prawn and topped with fresh coconut flesh, this otak-otak is so yummy.
This tongshui shop in pudu is crowded that you might need to queue for at least 30mins to place your order.
Aside from tongshui, they do offer some traditional kuih as well. One of their signature stir fry glutinous rice with egg and peanut is made to order. Verdict: too oily for my liking
Found my favourite sourdough combination in Tommy le baker. The sourdough toast with camembert cheese is so simple yet so good.
This new location of Tommy le baker have more comfort seating and nicer lighting. One thing that doesn't change is their sourdough remain as good.
Some delicious Chinese pastry from this breakfast place that famous for their pork ball noodle.
Egg tart came in flaky crust and smooth custard center. Smaller than regular egg tart which you can get nice amount of crust to custard ratio.
Siewbao was surprisingly good when had it warm, crunchy skin and flavourful barbeque pork in the center.
Doesn't know I love hazelnut so much until I had this dessert from Dew that highly recommended by a friend.
A choux pastry with hazelnut praline, hazelnut mousseline, toasted hazelnut and sea salt. The nuttiness balance of flavourful burst on the palette. So good
The famous yam rice in bukit mentajam open up their outlet in kepong. It was so crowded during dinner hour that you might need to share a table with other diner.
The pork soup taste slightly different from the original one in BM but it's still a comfortable bowl of soup to enjoy together with the yam rice.
All time favourite kakigori flavour from this Japanese shaved ice shop. It's sweet and with a hint of houjicha , milk and kinako powder. Perfect for hot afternoon
I'm a big fans for the dumpling from this Chinese restaurant. The restaurant serve China style of Chinese cuisine which feature dishes like fish fillet in chili oil (水煮魚), stir fry corn with pine nut and dumpling in different filling.
Most of the time I'll skip the white rice so I can had more dumpling. They do sell frozen dumpling as well that you can easily cook at home.
Not a fan of poke bowl? No worries, fin do offer other item on the menu such as this avocado toast.
Two slices of bread topped with mashed avocado and basil oil to enhance the flavor. Served with a small side salad and soft boiled egg.
Good for a light lunch
Always happy to get a chance to revisit this place that doesn't open on Sunday. Their banana loaf is very moist and loaded with chunk of banana. Definately a must try if you visit this place.
