Finally got my hands on this beauty :’) Soft and tasty beancurd accompanied with thick crust! Always long queue/filled with orders and can only pick up after 1pm!! Therefore would recommend reservations instead of walk in.
Set inclusive of drink! Ordered the Hoji Cha Latte and loved how rich the taste was. Salmon Don was good too but portion slightly small and food took about 25mins to come
Simply no go!!!! Aglio olio didn’t have the chilli kick or spices at all and not enough oil. Carbonara had a cheesy and pukey taste? :-(
3 of us and there was free flow potato porridge after paying $1 each! Portion was a lil towards the small side but the taste was decent. Loved the kang kong with cuttlefish!
Had the Swensens set meal where we could choose from 4 options and i got this! Had coffee and a single scoop of salted caramel along with it. Chicken was juicy and crispy but I felt that portion could be bigger overall. Waffle was a lil too crispy and minimal amount of honey was on it. Ice cream was decent but lacked the salt taste
Loved how the flour was thin, loved how the sauce complemented the rice roll so well. Prawn was crispy and juicy. Really really recommend this!!!! Very filling and tasty
Soup was a tad too salty and the flour of wanton could have been thinner but the Sauteed Turnip with XO Sauce and egg just won us over. Was SO SO good :’))
Reliving my hongkong days at this restaurant! First few times to boonlay and found this gem by mistake! Loved how the interior was just like hk, with legit locals from hongkong serving you and all of them speak cantonese! Tables and tiles were also like those in cha chan teng! The bun was fluffy and crispy but the yuan yang could do with lesser coffee
Craved the taste of the soup so went back for another round!!! The vegetable ($5.50), chef recommended is soooo good!! Staff there are very polite too, despite no seevice charge charged
Damage was abt $48 with drinks added in! Omg loved how the rice was crispy and charred at most part and the fragrance wafting around! The lala sauce had eggs inside and tasted like the ones in chilli crabs 😻 This place was insanely crowded on a saturday night, thank goodness we reserved!
Mango Ice was decent, with the aroma of mango taste but the sago balls were a bit hard and rice balls had this bitter after taste.
Had craving for something spicy so decided to go for the spicy noods! The chilli taste got more and more overwhelming as I went along, so don’t put too much chilli if you cannot take! Dumplings, the pork and chicken balls were soso only
