Dinner Set (Main & Tempura & Drinks)
A super worthy dinner at Tamoya Udon. Both of us got the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Udon. We loved everything in this bowl of goodness, from the chunky and tender pork belly, the chewy udon to the rich and flavourful soup. Was worried that the black garlic would be overwhelming but it was well infused into the soup base and wasnt sickening even till the last sip. The range of tempura available was quite wide too with a self service bar for condiments and sauces. Got fairly crowded after 7pm on a weekday night. Beyond doing its thing again for this deal and I would come back for more soon!

Premium Lunch Buffet $53.90
Includes free flow soft drinks and green tea and dessert of the day, which we chose single scope of matcha and black seasema ice cream. We orderd many things so let the picture above does the work, lol. Resturant was fairly crowded so better make your reservation few days prior your intended day. Staffs were friendly and efficient in serving and clearing of empty plates. Order was made through an ipad and food was served quite promptly. For variety of food its very worth for price paid (1 for 1), ingredients were fresh. Its a really good deal when you want to try all sorts of japanese food from sashimi to tempura. Will defnitely come back if we have cravings for assorted jap food again!

Create your own swiss meal
Veal Bratwurst + Signature Rosti + Roasted Potatoes
Smoked Pork Cervelat + Fried Egg + Roasted Veggies
Very chic and cozy eatery in the east. For the create your own swiss meals some items had to top up a bit more. Portion was really big and worth the price, with Beyond making it a really good deal. The bratwursts were juicy and grilled to perfection, they tasted like how they should be. The sour cream sauce was smooth and creamy, making the slightly oily bratwurst less sinful. Really like that you can customise your own meals with many choices available, great for people with differnt cravings. Will come back to try other combinations!
#BurppleBeyond 1-1 Main Dish
Fish and Chips $13.50
Classic Club Sandwich $14.50
The quality of food in Coffee Bean and Leaves caught us by surprise. Fish and chips was a decent dish with fish fillet not too over fried. Portion of fries and fresh salad complements the fish fellet well. Really love the homemade aiolli sauce, not sure the unique herb that was used, lemon grass? It was very fragrant and super appetizing, especially great for the Fish and Chips. The Classic Club Sandwich was also another decent dish, no complaints, all the ingredients were fresh and the whole combi was very satisfiying. It was very filling as there wasa fries coming along with it. Definitely will come back and use up the other voucher while still can!
Managed to snatch this at 50% off (U.P $3.90) thanks to Singtel Dash. I have to say I am really impressed by this Brown Sugar Fresh Milk Popsicle. Firstly there were really bobas in it, and it was chewy despite being frozen. Taste wise its exactly the same as their signature drinks but guess making it into a popsicle really gives consumers another alternative. Honestly it’s quite an innovative and pleasant product that makes a great dessert for the hot weather.

Jamaican Grilled Chicken Bowl $12
Cozy little cafe providing healthy food options amidst offices in One North. Staffs were friendly and they provided self served drinking water. We both tried the Jamaican Grilled Chicken Bowls, the grilled chicken was tender and juicy. Very well balanced meal with proteins, carbs and greens. I really enjoyed the mango salsa sauce that made the dish more refreshing, peri-peri sauce also done its job in giving my taste bud a spicy kick. The quinoa was not too bland with all the sauces and ingredients. Overall, a fairly good deal as they do not charge GST and service charge. Too bad that I will be shifting office soon but nonetheless it was a good meal.

Back here again after a few weeks to try their waffle. It was still crowded on a Saturday afternoon and staffs were still very friendly. We got back the drinks we got last time and standards were still on point. Their waffle with matcha ice cream did not disappoint, well balanced between crispy and soft. Matcha ice cream was not too sweet and went really well with the waffle. Really a great afternoon of relaxation at Olla with good coffee and dessert. Will definitely max out my vouchers since its so near my place!
A la carte buffet lunch weekend
We paid around $40 per pax, there's additional charge for the tea and tidbits. The menu was quite extensive, good for bigger groups as you get to try more items. Didn't manage to take many photos as there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. Quality of dishes were average, at least ingredients were fresh to begin with and presentation of food was well. Two dishes which caught my attention was the roasted pork and the drunken prawns. Didn't know that Peach Garden offers a range of buffet options across their outlets in Singapore. Would try food and buffet at other outlets too.
Finally tried Brown Sugar Deeroica Fresh Milk (S$5.30) from The Alley, while my friends tried this strawberry and milk tea drink respectively. Pearls were on the softer side, felt that the milk taste stronger than the brown sugar itself. Just a decent brown sugar drink I guess, cant choose the sugar level and it was a bit too sweet for me. For this outlet in Cineleisure, it was great to have some seats for customers to chill over their drinks.

Quarter Chicken ($14)
A very well-balanced lunch at this cozy restuarant near my office. Quarter roasted chicken was flavourful, meat was tender and not dry at all. Balanced portion of carbs (fries and a small wrap) and garden salad. Really love the sambal sauce as it added a tint of asian flavours into the whole meal. Will be back to try others on the menu as Beyond made it super worth while again! Staffs was friendly and efficient too.

Duck Confit Tagliatelle $24
Pommery Pork Chop $24
Traveled all the way from the west for this cafe. Quite glad that it didn't disappoint us. Food was pleasant and cafe has a chill vibe. The duck confit pasta taste homey, no striking taste but just a plate of delightful and heart warming pasta for your tummy. Pommery Pork chop was an interesting dish, sweetness from the cooked apples went went with the sauce and the pork chop, though pork chop was a bit tough for me the other day. But overall both dishes were interesting and different from typical cafe food. Would drop by again to try other items on their menu!
Original $5.90
Mentaiko Cheese $6.90
Waited for about 30 mins from queuing to getting the food on a weekday evening. Size of the tako yakis was quite big, filling was very soft and flavours were just right. However, we still find it slightly different from those we tried in Osaka but its a lot better than local ones. Mentaiko cheese was quite a unqiue flavour with rich sauce but it tasted it how it should be with no surprises. We still prefer the original ones. Will choose this over local tako yaki brands provided I have time to queue for them.
