Visted Michael's Bar with my friend last sunday for dinner. I ordered the chipotle chicken and found it surprisingly tender and well seasoned. My friend and I also ordered the buffolo wings to share. The wings were seasoned to perfection, with a slight tanginess to it. We got the cresten beer which was very afforable at just 5 dollars a bottle, and it really goes well with the food we were having. Overall, Michael's Bar has a very cozy environment and will be very suitable for friends to hang out over some great food and drinks.

Being new to the concept of japanese bar food, i am amazed by the wide range and variety of food served at shukuu. We ordered numerous dishes such as grilled beef tongue, kani mentaiko, chicken yakitori etc.
My personal favorite is the grilled beef tongue, as it flavourfully seasoned and when paired with the salt on the side, i was blowned away with how such a simple dish can retain the essence of the beef. Upon recommendation from the owner, we got the house sake which really complimented the food we ate. I will surely bring my friends there again.
