This brand new cafe along Evans Road highly recommends their salted caramel waffles, which are light, fluffy and tasty. The coffee here is decent too. Needless to say, this cafe will please the Bukit Timah folks!
Good ol local breakfast at CMC. Love the vibe here more than the food, which is good but not exactly mind blowing. The aunty is just too cute.

With set lunches (including 2 sides) going for only $10, it is no doubt that it has become a popular place for uni students and the working crowd. Signatures includes the Specialty Angus Ribeye and the Teriyaki Chicken Steak. They come in big portions, and there's no GST, service charge!
While it's almost certain that the Hougang and Bedok communities are already well-acquainted with this neighborhood favourite, the rest of the city might not yet be. The food is cheap and tasty, and the ambience friendly and relaxing. Highly recommended dishes include the Pad Thai at $5, thick-based Tom Yam at $6 (really hot) and stir-fried Mince Pork with Basil ($6).
