Not bad of a try. I chose the thin-noodles and I really liked it. The braised pork at the back ($19.90) was sinfully soft, and it was a biggie piece. The char siew ramen ($10.90) were good but not too much for a recommendation.
Yup, I got tempted by all the photos on social media, the too-good-to-be-real reviews. Imma try it ma-self. $15.80 for the Medium bowl with 4 choices, topped with salmon roes. Thick cubes of sashimi, fresh, generous portions just suitable for a lunch meal.
I got the salmon, tuna, yellow tail and whelk. Best combi, everything every bite is just so yum yums.
I didn't ordered any premium items ($3.80 each) because I thought this already tasted like premium.
It was donkey years back when I last dined in Fish&Co, finally back and was pleasantly surprised (and confused) of the wide spread of choices in the menu.Decided to go ahead with a Combo because I had no confidence to have an entire fish meal.
The baked pumpkin side dish gave me a shock on my first bite.
WHAT?! So soft omggg. Thank God they gave me quite a lot, I can't have enough so yummy. My sky!
The chicken thigh chop was goodly juicy. I just wish the sauce can be a little more spicy.
Rice was just alright. Nothing fancy. Fish was fresh but had to put salt on it cause it was quite bland. If only it comes with a more flavourful sauce.
Overall, good experience and will come back to the Glass House soon.
P.S. Their buffalo drumlets were not bad too!
Taste buds was longing for some sweet stuffs and went all the way to Tiong Bahru for this goodness. It was quite a wait despite the restaurant being quite empty but it was all worthwhile. Gorgeous presentation, I love how they caramelised the fruits too. It goes perfectly with chocolate gelato, what else can I ask for???
Chapter 55 serves some really good mains like pizza as well.
With the Entertainer App 1 for 1 deal ($22 ala carte), I am more willing to spend on a lobster roll for lunch, but it was incredibly awesome. The lobster meat was so bouncy and perhaps not many people would understand, but the sauce was sour and full of my favourite pickles!!!
I can't afford Pince and Pints, but this should be good enough I guess. :X
Lokal is by far one of the few cafes that serve proper food the proper way. They have chefs to cook all the mains. Will definitely return soon!
P.S. Curly fries tasted exactly the same as McDonald's, we probably can satisfy our curly fries cravings there whenever we want to have it.
Love to eat!!! Cheap and yummy.
I often patron The Dispensary during weekdays after lunch time. Usually it is so empty I have the whole place for my own hahahaha. I love their cupcakes especially sea salt caramel however they were quite tiny for $3.20 each... Ultimate favourite had got to be the red velvet sliced cake at $7+ if I remembered correctly.
Yes, I had it again. Hey the placement of the fruits are different today!!! Probably cause it was a different staff. Simple yet brings sweetness into my heart. I can't have enough of sweet stuffs...
This is an easy waffle. A good waffle means a base soft AND crispy, topped with fresh fruits and finished with pour and extra pour of maple syrup. Sweet die me but it always put a smile on my face :DDD
Slight improvement could be GIVE ME MORE FRUITS!!!
Love how I can choose the spicy level. Omelette is so soft and they are so generous with the curry sauce, I have too little rice to go with the sauce!!! Had countless of clams and the tomatoes added sweetness to the overall taste. Yums.
I'll go back again and again looking for some spicy affairs.
Just go try it. You wouldn't regret.
1. Sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream
Served warm, sticky with generous pool of caramel goodness. Cake is a perfect match with the ice cream.
2. Banana chocolate cake with yet again vanilla ice cream
I am not a fan of banana dessert but I had to say I go back to this every time. (Cause my workplace is nearby)
Always feel so sinful after these but heck, I need such foodie in my tummy.
