Where to begin with this...

Decided to come here for a nice meal after a tiring week of work only having to have waited for over 30 mins for this pizza. When the pizza finally came, it was WAY overcooked to the point that it tasted like a biscuit. If you were to refer to the edges of the pizza in the photo, you can see that it’s all cracked. And yes, I know that the crusts is supposed to be slightly harder than the rest of the pizza but this pizza was so crispy that I’d imagine it qualify as a frisbee.

Really was not worth the wait for this. Hopefully the next time will be better.

Can’t remember the exact name or price of this dish but I guess the description is close enough. Thought this was pretty good but I guess the reason for it being ~$26 is not because it taste exceptionally nice but because the big piece of salmon which they give.

All in all, it’s a nice dish but the price does not justify its quality.

Pasta Brava [Main 2/2] ~ $27.50

Generous with the seafood. The portion looks big at first glance but it really isn’t. Pasta is delicious, fresh and definitely worth it! Looking forward to try more pastas from Pasta Brava.

Burpple 1-for-1 comes with the following:
1) Soup
2) Pasta ($28 and below only)
3) Non-alcoholic drink

Total price paid for entire meal: $55.32

Pasta Brava [Main 1/2] ~ $28

Got to be honest, had no idea what this was based on the name the dish. When it came, I thought it was “mee hoon kway” with cream sauce 😂 However, the pasta was good and the cream sauce is really unique! Definitely wouldn’t mind coming back here again!

3 main issues with this restaurant:

1. This place is supposedly well known for it’s Signature Rosti which requires you to add an additional $1. When cooked, the Rosti tasted like the Chef had poured an entire bucket of salt into the food which was too salty to be eaten.

2. The bread was overly toasted and tasted burnt. The meats (beef +$3 and pork +$2) were overcooked which made it REALLY tough and dry.

3. Staff was unfriendly and seemed not to care about their customers given that the quality of food was already so bad.

All-in-all, both pictures you see were eventually thrown away because they were basically in inedible.

I hope the restaurant’s management will do something about this issue for the sake of their reputation and their future customers.

Definitely not coming back here again.

First time trying a vegan milkshake âœŒđŸ»

Made with almond milk and came together with a huge piece of cake.

Also, recommended to have at least 3 ppl to share this milkshake. Its HUGE

I don’t get the chance to eat such classy food very often but this was such a happy and well-spent meal. Some points to highlight, the bacon is coated with maple syrup and you can request for your eggs to be cooked in 3 ways (i.e. scrambled, poached or sunny-side up).

Definitely wouldn’t mind coming back to eat more of their food!

About $30 for all 6 dishes. Pretty worth it. The only downside is that the food is a little too salty and sweet for my liking.

Ordered the 1 for 1 set (Mains, Drinks, Tempura) and it cost a total of $14.80 as shown in the picture. Serving seems a little small, however, it is quite cheap and worth for Burple beyond. Will come again. The left pic is the pork udon (more suitable for ppl who prefer a more bland taste) and on the right is the black garlic tonkotsu (a little more salty and flavourful). There is also a selection of tempura to choose from, and I chose the fish cake and fried chicken. So so not bad ~

Very delicious. Asked for extra portion of spring onions too, and the owner gave a generous portion of it.

Very generous portion of meat. Service is very good also. And definitely worth due to 1 for 1.
Already used up all four coupons of burple.

To be clear, this dish is NOT part of Burpple’s one-for-one promotions.

So apparently nachos, cheese and pork make a good combination. Pork is good, cheese is...well, just cheese, but interestingly the nachos when eaten plain has a slight salty taste that made me want to keep eating it. Will recommend that you give this fish a try if you’re heading to this place. Although, note that the portion may be a little big for 2 ppl to share. 3-4 ppl should just about do it.
