As another reviewer mentioned, this place is totally like Narnia. You seriously wouldn't know that it's there, hidden amongst all the women's fashion, but when you find it, it is simply divine. It's like you've stepped into another world. The ambience is completely different as soon as you step through its doors.
The food is just amazing. I don't think my photo does this place any justice whatsoever. Definitely on the pricier side, but for a special occasion, it is totally worth it. A hidden gem.
Had two pieces of the pulled pork taco ($13.40++ for 2; $15.90++ for 3), really enjoyed it. New place at 313@Somerset, has a cool, casual place about it. It feels like the wait staff are still a bit haphazard, though; hopefully over time they'll get into a better rhythm.
I've been here a few times now and I'm never disappointed. Food and service are consistently great, and tea aficionados surely will be satisfied, with the bajillion teas they have here to choose from. I always go to the TWG that overlooks the canal. Looking down at the water is very relaxing, and the sunlight that streams through the atrium of the Shoppes helps to warm me up from the aircon freezation, lol 😊
A bit hit and miss at dinner when we visited for the first time: the peas with the lamb weren't all that great, nor was the polenta. But the pork belly was great, and so was dessert. Service was great though. Tbh, I would've expected more from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, esp for the prices you're paying (even if you are in MBS).
Good modern Thai fusion, really enjoyed our lunch here. Will be back again 👍 a heads up: when they have a chilli icon (or two!) next to the dish on the menu, take heed! 🔥😊
I went for a weekday lunch, so it was relatively quiet. You order on the little electronic menu that is at each table, and your order comes out quite promptly once submitted through the electronic system. And then you can also tap 'pay now' to alert them that you are on your way to the counter. Pretty slick setup! And the food was good too 😊
This was a cute, little cafe in Haji Lane. My bagel was great, and I loved the side of chips that came with it. 😊 My soy cappuccino was also great: not any more bitter than any other place I've tried in SG (I prefer milder coffees, but Singaporeans seem to prefer more bitter brews); nonetheless, it was well made, which I don't say too often! Service was friendly and prompt; positive experience all around.
Food is great here (albeit on the more expensive side); but service could be improved. And a bit of instruction on how to order would've helped too: there's no table service, you order at the register where the little grocery store setup is. Also note that it's all organic vegetarian food. Nonetheless, I'll be back again for the great food.
