Minced pork, brown mushrooms, tofu for a simple Sunday dinner

Baked at 200 degrees for approx 35 mins, second shelf from the bottom. Marinated overnight with 1.5 tablespoons of lemon juice (can do 2 tbs), chopped garlic (can try smashed whole garlic cloves next time) soy sauce, oyster sauce, oil, sugar, mustard, 3 sprigs of rosemary herb, some salt.

Stir fry “nai bai” with wolfberries, dash of salt and dose of chicken stock brings it all together.

2 packets of instant beef curry, 1 potato, 1 carrot, half an onion, some chopped garlic and 300g of flank beef. Tip: season the beef lightly with salt, pepper, small amount of soy sauce, don’t over season the beef else it would lose its natural beef flavour.
Sear the beef first and take it out, before cooking the veges.

Lunch was toman fish, with Japanese noodles. Added ginger, wolfberries, fish bones and chicken stock for the broth ☝🏼

Potatoes, carrots and chicken stir fry.. (Throw abit of ginger powder to the marinade of the chicken, works well!)

12 mins at 180 degree Celsius, and you have a juicy slab of salmon fillet! Marinade was mustard, honey, oyster sauce, balsamic vinegar #simpledinner

Steamed chicken with wolfberries, shiitake mushrooms and 2 bottles of chicken essence.
Stir fried Chinese spinach with prawns.

Japanese steam egg with all the good stuff from the ocean; they call this the Seafood Chawamushi. It’s topped with real crab meat, scallops, unagi, mushrooms. $15, good for 2-3 pax (15-20 mins waiting time so order this first)

300g of fatty ribeye on a bed of mash, covered with rocket leaves and fried onions $34 (steak could have been more flavourful in my opinion)
Go for the mami rice if you want your meat less fatty.

Thick fluffy pancakes with vanilla ice cream cubes and assortment of berries $22
