Only one pathetic piece of bacon in the risotto balls, even had one without any bacon. Chicken pieces also quite few. They have weekday set lunches available till 2pm which i think is more value for money.
The cafe is having a very unique retro vibe with plenty of vintage furniture and collection available for purchase. Nice to visit and spend a lazy afternoon .

Tried this omurice place in Yishun Northpoint over the weekend. I think it's quite good, not fantastic but tasty and satisfying. Especially exciting to see the lava when cutting the egg. There are several sauce to choose from eg. demi-glace, Japanese curry, tomato and cream sauce. Quite reasonably priced too. Each dish here costed $10.80 to $14.80 but need to add $2 for lava style egg. Not bad, can try.

This dish is not bad, just find the patty slightly dry and not much parmesan traces. Sweet potatoes some nice some not, quality not consistent.
Dessert : Hazelnut Brown Butter Cake
This cake is quite good. Not those light fluffy cake, it is slightly dense but moist. Sweetness just right and I like the hazelnuts.
Hot Latte ($5) is on standard, quite smooth but rather mild on coffee.
Bearded Bella is extremely popular. With the big crowd, i was requested to shift to the bar counter when i was half way through my main dish. Not very pleasant but i obliged since I'm alone and the table was under reservation. So, if you guys like to visit during lunch hours, advisable to reserve a table in advance. Nevertheless, i find the set lunch quite a good deal .

Tried Pasta Supremo over the weekend and i highly recommend it.
Love the fresh handmade pasta and fusion twist on their dishes. They serve interesting flavours like Chicken Rice pasta and Sichuan style Prawn Olio Olio (which we had) ($18). Curly pasta tossed in Sichuan garlic oil, served with garlic prawns, lap cheong crumbles and tobiko. It's unique, spicy and slightly numbing from the chilli oil, bursting crunchiness of tobiko and sweet savoury flavours from the chinese sausage. It's quite shiok. We also had the Truffle Cream ($19). Long pasta in truffle cream served with mushrooms, kombu, garlic chips and grana padano cheese. This dish tasted more like your regular pasta, nothing to shout about. However, i do like that the cream sauce is not too jelak and it was delicious. Also, don't leave without getting the super yummy but sinful Fried Chicken Skin ($6). This was very crispy, well seasoned, highly addictive, totally worth the calories. We had one more side, the Spicy Pork Belly ($4), this one was quite average. What's best? Burpple Beyond applicable, so one for one Pasta + side. What a great deal!

This dish was quite good. Scrambled eggs were nice and creamy, the ham and cheeses in brioche was delish. The avocado, however, was too mushy, tasted overripe.
Large Latte ($7) was slightly more acidic than i like but still decent.
I had followed @craftsmenspecialtycoffee for some time and i always wanted to visit the cafe after seeing many nice posts. Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing. First, when i entered the cafe, i was ignored by the staff even when our eyes met. I stood in front of the counter for a bit then I realised no one will bother about me, so i procced to find a table, get the menu, a cup of water then place my order at the counter. I understand there's no service charge, I'm also not expecting much service but this just feels too uninviting for a cafe. Next, the ambience was far from cozy as the tables were extremely closed to each other. So closed that i felt like friends with the patrons beside me and awkward not to interact with her... lol
Well, I guess the business is too good that they need to maximise the space... and it was indeed quite crowded this morning on a Monday, but not so enjoyable for me. 🙁 .

An awesome dessert dish from Pacamara Coffee Roaster. Thick fluffy fried brioche complete with berry compote, fresh berries, vanilla ice cream, nuts and half sliced poached pear (my special request, thank you, chef) Super yummy and satisfying to my sweet tooth 😋😋😋 Coffee is good as well.
