The soups are so comforting!
Managed to satisfy our cravings for savoury and sweet tooth. Quality is good, as always.
We ordered our favourites and everyone was pleased with our items.
Saw many cyclists taking a pit stop here. My first attempt at the prata here. Be prepared to queue. I was there at 9.30am on a Sunday and had to wait reasonably long. Different curry choices to choose from.
Never go wrong with these when we host our friends. Pasta and meat dishes are good!
Chance encounter after hiking and wanted to get a quick snack. Will do a sit in in future as the 2nd storey looks inviting.
Chanced upon this neighbourhood heartland gelato place. We ordered the mango tango, lavender earl grey and green apple yakult ones. $13 in all, can be redeemed using CDC vouchers too. We loved the flavours we ordered. Generous scoops in a cup and not overly sweet!
We did a takeaway for a birthday celebration and I must say all the dishes were excellent. Crabs were $75/kg and we ordered 2 large ones (approx 1.8kg onwards)- one chilli and one black pepper flavoured. Unlike some chilli crabs which were tomato- sweet, the chilli crab here is really good with spice level enough to excite.
All dishes did not fail. Happy that we managed to order this for the celebration.
We ordered 2 bowls of Tonkotsu Soba (Regular) and 1 bowl of original Shoyu Soba (Truffle'l (Regular). Addded a Yaki Gyoza.
All adds up to $57.90, all inclusive. Wasn't a wow meal but good to fill our famished tummies for a few hours 😉😜
Our party of 5 ordered the deluxe buffet. There were some hits and misses to the meats. We enjoyed the succulent and big-sized prawns (not in picture). Weekend lunch buffet at $65 each (all inclusive).
I guess the fish head curry claypot is their signature dish. Every other table has one of these. Comes in a standard size, there are lots of vegetables in it but the fish seems pretty limited $30. Taste wise, the first few mouthfuls wowed me but after when its not exactly piping hot, the fish becomes fishy fast. Har cheong gai was excellent, served hot and extremely tasty for 10 pcs at $12. We ordered satay as well to go along, which was good too!
Lots of yummy dishes in this eating house and I definitely come back soon.
Authentic tasting Thai food with affordable pricing. All the dishes we ordered were great! Portions are generally small though. Tom yum soup and steamed fish with lime, featured in the photo here, were just 2 of the dishes we ordered. No time to take pictures for the rest. Heeehee.
