I really liked the texture of the noodles here! The chilli also packed a punch, really good. Their signature noodles ($5) came with Ikan bilis, minced meat, 3 meatballs, a poached egg and a small bowl of soup. The chilli is made in house and there are 5 levels of spiciness. Level 3 is spicy enough for the noodles (in my opinion). The soup tasted naturally sweet and I wasn't thirsty even after finishing it all. Yums!
The filling of this tart ($8.50) is slightly sour so it goes pretty well with the white choc on top. Quite liked it.
Yummy soup curry with spicy levels from 0 to 30. I chose Oink Oink ($15.90), pork with tomato based curry. The service crew shared that some felt level 30 was spicy, some didn't. That meant it wouldn't be too spicy for chilli lovers. Since level 30 might cover the taste of the food, I went for 25. Pretty oily, but tasted good! Rice was nice and fluffy. Tomato and coconut curry base is thicker, and I prefer tomato because the coconut taste was quite strong.
This is my recent favourite wanton mee at the second level of Hong Lim Food Centre. Just $4 for lots of char siew, plump wanton and the noodle texture is good also! Be sure to order smartly and move speedily to win the approval of the wanton lady.
I had the Chirashi Don ($12) and added $5 for chawanmushi, side salad and dessert. Kyoaji's sashimi is fresh, rice is fluffy the way I like it. Really value for money!
I really liked it that the mapo tofu was super silky and very disintegrate-in-your-mouth soft. But I would love it more if it was less salty and oily. I liked the texture of the Dan Dan Noodles and how the soup at the side goes well with the food!
This Double Cheesecake is super light and 'melt in your mouth'!!!
Very fluffy and light shortcake. But for $10.20, I could get more of other options at more affordable prices.
Super Yummy Tempura Spicy Maki Loh!!!
This Miso Pork at Kabuke is one of the best miso pork I've ever eaten!
