We saw that our neighboring table ordered it and we couldn't resist it! We thought it was Thai iced tea topped w Thai iced tea ice cream. Turned out it was ice blended Thai iced tea that was scooped out using an ice cream scoop. We ate it with our spoons and called it Thai iced tea ice kacang 😝

4.5 munchies: The Mazarin is one of Rocket Coffeebar's signature pastries - a light and moist cake topped with almond icing and crunchy almond nuts. It makes a perfect pairing with their well-brewed cafe latte, which is ideal for afternoon tea and even for breakfast I'd say. Now I get why you can't leave Rocket without trying their Mazarins.

Found this new cafe along Seng Poh Road! Lots of potential....

Was introduced to this gem by a friend and I had been coming back ever since. Their White Carrot Cake comes with a generous amount of egg that is fried to a crisp, covering the "q" pieces of carrot cake and wok hei was pretty evident too. Love their chili because of its almost flat out spiciness.

A tip: they churn out black and white carrot cakes in alternate non-stop, so its probably a wise idea to wait instead of taking the pre-packed takeaway ones. Carrot Cake is only served during morning to early afternoon, while they take a break in between and serve only Oyster Omelettes in the evening.

This little coffee shop tuck in the corner of Woodlands Ring Road is pretty popular among woodlanders! This is one of my favorites when I really have no idea what to have for dinner!

I love the strong matcha flavour! The matcha taste the sweetness level is just nice. But if you're here, don't order the earl grey, it somehow taste like winter melon tea. Just stick to the coffees or matcha latte!

So glad to find out that the famous wonton Mee is just right next to my hotel! This is along Petchaburi 19 alley, opposite Platinum. The special wonton mee has crab meat as well. Super fragrant because of the sesame oil and while fried shallots. Springy noodles and tasty char siew and wonton. The crab meat really balanced out the other flavours!

Who DOESN'T need some fried chicken in the wee hours of the morning? Thankfully, there's Kko Kko Na Ra to provide just that. Specialising in what they call 'KFC' (Korean Fried Chicken), their famous wings come in 4 flavours - original, soy garlic sauce, sweet & spicy, and hot & spicy. For a taste of everything, get their chicken combo set, which comes in original/ sweet/ garlic flavours. They only close at 3am - a great place to quell those late-night, post drinking hunger pangs.
