I don't think it's expensive, but at some point polo buns hit a ceiling and it's pushing it to do a full cafe on this. Anyway, the X-factor is the superb crust, but on the other hand the butter was a bit stingy, which goes against the spirit of 菠萝油.

好吃. 适合带小孩来 菜品肯定是现炒，但是酱的味道有点咸了，即使是配饭的情况。点心点的烧卖，预制的，也很不错。这个双拼，可以随意选，叉烧好吃过鸭肉。

The crispy cheong fun I think this is the only thing worth coming to this eatery for. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy our meal there + they almost didn't allow us to use our Beyond deal! Not a place that we enjoyed nor would return to next time.

Char Siew Wanton Noodle A quiet neighbourhood along Sembawang Road, where you could find some eateries around this area. Wong Chiew is one of them and has been here for many years. serving daily with their selection of Chinese foods in a coffee shop setting. But many people also come here for their tze char, which they also have an air-conditioned unit beside. I’m here during the day to grab some lunch, so gotten their char siew wanton noodle. Which I won’t say it is decent, but enjoyable meal. Their version seems very sweet because of the sauce. But the char siew is very juicy.

I ordered the dim sum and XO carrot cake (its soft,with a light flavour of XO sauce and crunchy bean sprout and egg. Strawberry Shortcake Interesting to know that they actually would change the menu. So now they have introduced a whole new range of drinks and waffles when I came back. The new waffles series now depict a ice cream stick alike. The Singapore’s first ice cream shaped honeycomb waffles that freshly made upon order. Coming with total of 5 flavours to choose from. Gotten Strawberry Shortcake which use Korean strawberries, together with fresh cream cheese and chocolate shavings biscuits. Go grab one stick and enjoy eating it like an ice cream (that won’t melt at all).

Egg & Cheese Toast ($5.70) i finally tried it before I left the area last month but then its not that bad as I thought as I legit removed the tomato from the toast. But then they made it freshly made from the order and also I like their teh o and got strong tea flavour.

Kaya Butter Bun ($2.50) I already tried their toast version but I refer to the bun version as it's not that dry and hard aftertaste as the bun version.

Kaya Butter Set Meal coffee ($5.50) I felt that kaya toast was quite crispy but a bit dry aftertaste. overall experience was not bad for set meal.

Closing Down Promotion Had the 1 for 1 Maple Butter Cream Pancake as part of their closing down and relocation to the west sale. Paid $16.80++ thr price of one set. The whipped cream is flavourful and the flufflness of the pancake is amazing.

Light and fluffy Pancakes are light and fluffy, and good sized portions too. I enjoyed the plain pancakes This place is halal certified so you can bring your muslim friends too. Water is served here.

☁️ These souffle pancakes were extremely fluffy, akin to eating clouds, I mean, they better be since I waited so long for them. As someone with a sweet tooth, I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself favouring the Egg Benedicts pancake over their Berries ones. Despite having a mountain of cream served on the latter, it was not cloyingly sweet since it was pretty light on the palate. As for the Egg Benedict pancakes, 1 of it was served with salmon, while the other was with prawns. It was pretty textbook though, nothing much to shoutabout but still worth a try at least!

Mushroom Swiss Burger ($23+) The buns were soft. The cheese and patty tasted very similar to the real deal. The fries seems to be made from real potatoes as the skin can still be seen. It is abit pricey but the food is good.

This burger got a handle on me Vegan burger that tastes soo good. Definitely coming back to try their other exotic dishes, including chicken rice burger I had their swiss mushroom burger and this place nailed it with the punch of flavours. We also love all their sides - Roasted cauliflower with mayo (looks like an art) - Bandung with outside!! - and our favourite MyNuggets. Amaazing

Cheeseburger S$ 19 Smashed Impossible patty, plant-based cheddar, pickles, caramelised onions, Love Handle burger sauce, fluffy buns, fries. I'm not a big fan of patty burger, but this one is surprisingly yummy. Very creamy sauce works well with the impossible patty. Additional plus point for the very crunchy and flavorful fries.

Fish & Chips ($7.90) For $7.90 so worth it!! On some days you just want to treat yourself to a sinful plate of the classic fried fish and fries. Fish & Chicks wowed us with a big piece of fish that was seasoned well and featured a thin flaky tempura-like batter. We also enjoyed the fries which were fried to golden brown perfection and had a similar taste to wedges. The meal also came with purple cabbage coleslaw and some tartar sauce on the side to complement the dish.
