This savory kueh is not listed in the menu. Get it from the counter instead. Spicy dried shrimp, wrapped in fragrant glutinous rice colored a beautiful blue with butterfly pea flower dye. So good, am craving for more.
Pretty yummy. The burnt onions sauce, that tender medium rare beef... Yumz!
Took a break from our rides through the park connector for brunch. The British Big Brekkie and the Spruce Big Brekkie were substantial ($19 each). The banana hot cakes were lovely😋
We already had dinner at our fave porridge store; but we couldn't resist the call of the $5 Calsberg beers. So in we went for a drink. Then I decided I just had to have those Churros... Four for $6. These are decent , though I would have preferred a lighter dough. Four for one is definitely an overkill - share.

[NEW Menu] [Telok Ayer] [Launch: May 2015] Brunching at this Modern European fare restaurant in the CBD district because I enjoyed the tranquility here during the weekend. Their [NEW] brunch menu is indeed filling and interesting.
Big slab that is good for sharing. Can't resist all the proteins on one plate.

A nice, quiet cafe just behind my block :) The eggs fluffy and moist, the way I like it. The bacon was crispy as well as the waffle. Foresee myself coming back here aince it is so near my place :)
I think this is the only store in the hawker centre selling Thunder Tea Rice. I love the generous serving of vegetables - cabbage, long bean, a slightly bitter green. Small cubes of lightly salted tofu, topped with crunchy peanuts. Choose your option of white ($3.80), or brown ($4.30) rice (my preferred). As healthy as it gets for hawker fare.
Lightly battered, fresh and crispy, but oh-so-oily. These were good, but better were the Singapore Pasta and the Osaka Pizza. We could be back - decent, well priced, in our hood.
Tried the executive set lunch at Catalunya. While it's decent, I think we are gonna go with the ala carte menu on our next visit. The desserts, a sorbet and a bread pudding, were decent, not 'wow'. 3 course set lunch at $38+++
