Matcha Crumbles Donut ($4) I almost forgot to post donut from this shop and then good thing that I decided to buy donut since passby area once again so its quite quiet during weekday afternoon. But previously I didn't have any chance to do so I promised myself if I passby the area and just popped by the area. So the matcha cream just quite sweet taste and not enough bitter tbh and then matcha crumble was quite crunchy to chew thru. Overall I felt that it's quite oily aftertaste.

Chocolate Walnut Donut got strong nutty taste but I felt that it's quite mild taste between nutty and sweet.

Mocha Doughnut got strong coffee taste but I felt that it's quite mild taste between bitter and sweet.

Junior Meal Order than the seasonal item of the lobster risotto omu rice ($18.90), they allow me to order their omu rice with ebi junior set which is good enough if I dun want order much ($11.90). Dessert wise kind of hard and dry but for the price ok I guess

Hoshino pot-baked curry rice S$ 14.50 A very cheesy curry rice. Although the portion quite small but is very satisfying to eat.

Unatama Don Instead of putting it together on a single bowl, the rice was separated from the egg and unagi. The egg was a tad too saltish as it was soak in quite a fair bit of the sauce. Apart from the egg, the unagi was great 👍🏼 Every main order comes with free flow salad bar, drinks and dessert.

Breef Grisle Omu Rice Comes with demi glace sauce and tomato rice. Beef was brasied till tender and soft and the flavour seep deep into the meat.

Tonkatsu Omurice with Demiglaze Sauce the egg was pretty good but the sides were average? rice was okay, although some parts were on the clumpy side. while the tonkatsu crust was not bad, the pork itself tasted a little underseasoned. i'd say try the chicken karaage instead! ratings: 🌕🌕🌖🌑🌑

Dutch Baby Pancakes Chocolate and banana ditch baby 🥞 pancakes So happy to be meeting my sister for a girls night out over a lovely dessert . Called pancakes but actually more like fluffy crepes , this was enjoyable . The “ pancakes” were well executed and beautifully presented . The only thing was that the quality of ice cream and the chocolate sauce were lacking. If it’s a perfect dessert , then all components have to be perfect . The chocolate ice cream tasted like walls ice cream and the chocolate sauce was more like chocolate syrup rather than a rich genuine dark chocolate sauce I was hoping for. A little surprised as I thought that the Japanese owners would take care of little details as such 😊 Nevertheless, the friendly service made up for everything and the flexibility to choose your pancake size was a nice gesture since we just had a full dinner and wanted something smaller. Opt for the set deal and get their hot Yuzu green tea which was incredibly fragrant . A nice cosy cafe to rest your legs and get some girls talk done 👧🏻

Wallet Friendly Mookata Excellent value, 4 pax at 30 dollars. Most meats are about 2 to 3 dollars. Meat was well flavoured too, didnt even need use the chili sauce. Soup used was corn soup instead of chicken stock, so there was a sweetness to it.

Authentic Chinese Skewers One of Burpple beyond best deal as it comes with variety of which includes chicken wing joints, sausage, bacon, mushroom and many more. The meal is so well prepared that it's soft and tender when ready. The seasoning is best paired with the fried rice which needs to be ordered separately. The excellent service there is also the reason why I would love to come back again for Chinese BBQ!! 5/5 for me!!

The salt-bake has infused the chicken, but I wish it was slightly more salty / had been baked longer... though this will still please most. . Great BCM Usually go to Lam's Noodle at Parkway Parade for bcm fix - $4.80 for a bowl + $1 for additional minced pork. This branch seems to give slightly less noodles than the PP branch, but the chilli/vinegar ratio was great and the noodle texture was springy and firm. Soup was good too. Lam's BCM is definitely in my top 5 BCM list!

Okonomiyaki! Visited Seiwaa to try their teppanyaki and okonomiyaki! We made a last min decision to dine here, so no reservation was made. Hence, we were not able to get the hotplate tables! For the hotplate tables, the chef will cook the food infront of you at the tables! You will need to call in advance to make the reservation, and there is fixed timings for the hotplate tables! Otherwise, you can also walk in to get the non-hotplate tables. You can still order the same food (except for some exceptions) at these non-hotplate tables, just that the food will be cooked in the kitchen backend before it is served to the table. Here is what we ordered: -Mix Okonomiyaki ($18+): They have 9 different choices! This that we choose had pork, squid and shrimp. -Squid Teppanyaki ($30+): Got this as it was one of the recommended item! However, I feel that we had much better squid elsewhere before! -Garlic Fried Rice ($12+): We ordered this for some carbs. but this garlic fried rice was kinda underwhelming. Not enough garlicky fragrant taste. Besides Okonomiyaki, they also have monjayaki as well, but that can only be ordered at the hotplate tables!

Black Angus It was a bit chewy at medium but glad it wasn’t seasoned so we could taste the meat. Nice sauce.

Lovely Lamb-shoulder ($24) This dish was a really pleasant one and all the elements came together really well. The lamb was perfectly cooked; it was really tender. While there was a slight gamey-ness (only a tinge) to the lamb, we like this aspect of it. The pomegrenate really gave a nice pop to this dish and an added brightness. Finally, the quinoa nestled at the bottom of the plate soaked up all the juices from the lamb, and made for a great mouthful altogether. MUST ORDER💯

Satisfying Scotch-eggs ($12) We don’t believe this is a dish that’s served that commonly in Singapore, hence we decided to order it. While not perfect, it was a pretty satisfying dish overall. The sausage did not have too intense a flavor to it, and was thankfully not overdone. The chutney seemed to be the star of the show, with its acidity and bite giving good contrast to the dish. However, we don’t think a scotch egg can be called as such without a molten interior. Also, these were only warm when they arrived at our table, rather than being served piping hot. Can Order👍

Terrific Truffled croque monsieur ($20) Serving this on a slightly sweeter slice of bread (Pilsner loaf it seems) turned out to be an amazing decision by the Chef as it paired perfectly with the myriad of savoury toppings packed within. The gems inside the sandwich included pulled pork, prosciutto as well as tallegio cheese. This was our first time trying this cheese but it’s intense flavor and saltiness really went well with the bread. MUST ORDER💯

Crispy Pumpkin with Miso Sauce [$6.80] Thinly sliced pumpkin with a thick batter. Deep fried and coated with miso sauce. Sadly it was a little cloying for me and I struggle to enjoy this after my 2nd piece.

BBQ 2 Combination ($14.80) What's London Fat Duck without trying the roast duck itself? The BBQ combination features choices from the roast duck, roast pork belly and char siew. A combination of all 3 would cost $23.80. We had the roast duck and char siew combination. While the char siew had a slightly charred edge and caramelized exterior, the meat was too fatty for my liking. Melts in the mouth but still a no no. But the roast duck was quite impressive, a chopped drumstick that had juicy meat and well-roasted skin. Pairs so suitably with the sweet plum sauce that cuts through all the oiliness.
