As part-time vegetarians, we want to try this dish sometimes but were always late & dish is sold out. Finally got our servings but not quite as expected. The plant-based chicken are on dry side although we can do this with the sauce. Maybe it's time they come up with new plant-based dish!

A right portion for 1 person with full packed ingredients. Crab, ikura, tamago and sushi rice make this set a nice lunch takeaway. Great to see their relatively new kiosk in wisma atria (open since Dec last year). Quite a full range of sushi options and comes with chopstick and wet towel.

We are big fans @cocasingapore especially their premium coca sauce. Their daily lunch buffet deal is really well worth although you can go all in for their most recent premium buffet.🀀✌️ Top up $1 for Chinese tea (hot/cold) to accommodate your customised hot pot. Ingredients you should order: prawn, green noodle, crab nuggets, fish maw (some are not included in this pic). Do check it out & book in advance.

Getuk Getuk (a dessert made with cassava/tapioca with grated coconut toppings ) VS. Getuk Ubi (with "sweeter" coconut toppings - in orange) are so addictive and one of our top lists in Bengawan Solo.

These 2 types of Getuks are available only in some outlets.

With the Thomson-East Coast Line, good eats in Upper Thomson area are within reach for those who live in TPY. For takeaway order, pay $0.70 extra from Usual price of $4.70. Generous fishballs, fish dumplings and fish cakes as usual. Pork lard lovers will be happy as they give a few pieces in the bowl. It becomes one of our fav noodle joint in SG and there is no doubt why it's been around for so long.(est.1946) πŸ‘ πŸ’―

Inspired by Millionaire shortbread, this tastes super rich!! πŸ™€ Peacan, biscuit ice cream, salted caramel sauce and golden caramel chocolate shell and you know where that bold sweetness come from.πŸ€“ Grab this one in cheers (launched since March but this is the first Magnum treat we have in long time).

Crab Bisque Soup Hotpot ($48)

The crab bisque soup was a perfect marriage of creaminess and umami flavour. The soup is seafood forward but not excessively so -- it went beautifully with the wagyu beef strips, which only need a quick dip in the boiling soup before the tender pieces can be popped into your mouth.

Buffet ($14.90) - 90 Minutes

Choose from a variety (5 choices) of Korean-style soup base combinations (my recommendation is β€œ90mins the Best”), and then add on ingredients into the pot to cook! The ingredients include fishcake skewers (love this!), 5 different types of tteokbokki, meats, seafood (clams, prawns), vegetables and noodles! I’d also recommend adding on the cheese ring for that extra oomph! Once you are done with your first meal, don’t forget to ask the staff to prepare the fried rice for you (using the leftover broth) to complete your experience!

Good donut should have supple and no grainy sugar texture. We enjoy Orh Nee not because it is recommended by the store for non-sweet tooth people πŸ€ͺ but because the amount of fillings is just right and not overpowering the main star 🍩
.
For Pandan ondeh ondeh, it is rich & juicy not too much for our liking. The nanyang kopi (with kopi shot) would tempt us to try next time.β˜•πŸ«–

Est since 1954, Tai Cheong is very well known for their smooth textured egg tarts. Long queue for CNY takeaway but upon hearing from their crew that the durian & cheese tart is out of stock. The queue dissipates. One of our fav go to place for egg tarts as we prefer no burnt top and not too sweet type. Pandan tart > Classic > coconut
