Sometimes simple can be amazing: olive oil fried eggs, with their crispy edges and luscious runny yolk, go perfectly with just-poached asparagus. Finish off with sea salt and it's a match made in heaven!

Is this the best nasi lemak in Singapore? I would say it's pretty high up there. The Chilli is undoubtedly the best part of the dish - not too sweet, not too spicy. But I think the rice, which for me is the star of the show, could be fluffier and more coconutty and aromatic. Still, it definitely hits the spot for a weekend nasi lemak craving!

Felt like something comforting on a Sunday afternoon and this lontong 100% ticked the boxes. The chewy, crispy, coconutty serunding on top totally made the dish. The paru (lung) was also a delicious and unexpected addition to regular lontong. Perfect comfort food!
