One might remember Royal London Duck that previously occupied this spot at basement 1, The Dining Place also prides itself for its Irish fat duck, along with its noodle and dim sum offered here.
We tried its signature treasure box that included a sampling platter of its roast meats, dim sum and noodles. We enjoyed the bamboo noodles with that special XO mushroom sauce and big plump onsen egg. Their char siew would appeal to those who prefer leaner meat although we wished it was fattier and juicer. The Irish fat duck definitely stood out, so much so we would go for an ala carte portion of it next time. Comparatively, the dim sum in the box played decent supporting roles to the formers. Overall, this would be recommended to those who enjoy more variety for a meal, especially when it came at an appealing price of $13.99.
Big slab of pork ribs with smoky charcoal flavour. Soooooo good 😌 #carnecaipirinha #brazilianbuffet #churrascaria #meatbuffet #burpple
So happy that it's just a few bus stops away from my place #omnomnomnivore #tuktukchasg #burpple
Not the prettiest plate by far but certainly one of the tastiest I've had in recent times. A glorious mess of pork cutlet, tender squid, cabbage and fried egg with sweet dark soya sauce sits atop a bed of rice. All of this is drenched in a fragrant, coconut-y curry sauce. The star of the dish is of course the crispy pork cutlet - a thin layer of expertly spiced deep-fried breading encasing juicy pork fillet within. Though I am loathe to use such a lazy suffix, this was aptly PORKALICIOUS. $5.70 for this lordly meal.
A treat for myself after a week of hard works. TGIF!! Love this because it's not too sweet 😋
My favourite is Chicken Delight and Hola Hawaiian! For the price of $4.90 per slice, I think it's very worthwhile because they put a lot of ingredients on top. Best thing is they sell by slices. Me and my friends can pick our own favourites hehe
