1/4 Chicken with 1 side ($14.90) This is our go-to set whenever we visit Nando's. We couldn't help but notice the shrinkflation from this dish. The grilled veggies (broccolis, carrots, capsicums, onions) are still packed with aroma and taste. It seems the menu has been altered to cater for quick lunch crowd 🤠

🍃The Great Pretender "Plant Based Wrap" with 1 side ($14.90)🌯 🥸 When you want to eat plant based wrap but don't want to compromise on texture and flavor, this is a "great pretender" indeed! The soya meat has similar texture to the Peri-Peri chicken (their signature). Smoked chilli sauce is a replacement for the creamy mayonnaise. 🌶✌️You will also find another plant based alternative (look like bak kwa-a replica of bacon bits) which lend extra flavor and texture to the wrap. The small wedges sides are well seasoned. I have those with extra spicy peri peri sauce.🛍 Staff service is great despite lunch peak hour and I got takeaway bag to consume what I couldn't finish #nofoodwaste 👍♻️

Kampong Fried Rice With Sambal ($14) I love this set from Pappa Mia. Look at the runny egg, well marinated satay and fragrant fried rice. Pair it with the sambal Chili and it is a sinfully hearty meal 😋

Dry Curry Mee (Dayah) A tad bland, tasted more like mee rebus to me. For those who don't like spicy stuff.

Ayam Bakar The chicken could have been more tender. It was marinated well and had a nice sweetness from the soy sauce. The tofu and tempeh were good. The sambal belachan was pretty good, too! Not too sour, not too spicy. I had to take seconds, it was not enough for me. The set with rice was $8.70. Still, I'm gonna continue the quest for the perfect Ayam Bakar/Penyet. Haven't found anything that matched the stall at clementi mall which suddenly disappeared a few years ago :( That was SO GOOD!!! If you know any great ones, do comment!

Ayam Penyet Set ($6) The signature dish Ayam Penyet (smashed fried chicken) was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.  I got the breast meat today so it wasn’t as well-marinated and juicy as the thigh. The chilli paste, unique blend of chili padi and diced tomatoes was suitably spicy without being overpowering.  The set supposedly comes with rice and a piece of fried tofu, veggies and some tempeh. But these was no tempeh in any plate on my table this time; very disappointed as I was looking forward to it. If you love food from Indonesia, the ayam bakar set is also 👍🏻 We also ordered the iced chendol ($3). There was a generous dollop of gula melaka in the small glass, but there was only the green chendol and black grass jelly in it, no red beans or other ingredients.  Also don’t bother trying the sambal Kang Kong as it really does not taste like it at all; just Kang Kong in the dilute sauce; a disappointment.

Soooo Delicious. A halal restaurant at Far East. It's my first time try this place. Foods here are really delicious. The price is fine as it located at orchard. Around 10 dollars for main and drinks.

Kangkong Sambal Kangkong sambal ($8.50++) Small plate for the price. The sambal is not spicy or salty enough, the veg tastes quite bland.

Bak Mee Ayam Bak mee ayam ($8.80++) Noodles taste very Chinese with the black bean sauce. Noodles is abit too soft and overcooked. Ingredients were average.

Nasi Lemak Set B Nasi lemak set b ($14.50++) Comes with sambal prawns and beef rendang. Rice can be more fragrant. Sambal chilli is nice. Sambal prawns can be spicier.

Crave Nasi Lemak ($5.50) Ordered this on grabfood. Loved it! The rice is perfectly cooked and the chilli was great. Can get a cheaper alternative at the original adam road stall, but of course, you would lose the comfort of air conditioning in the malls where crave outlets are located.

Nasi Royale Set - Simple Lunch Fare [$6.90] I had this on GrabFood using a promo code (“SHIOK”) and I got 50% off. I shared the delivery fee with my colleagues. From my memory, CRAVE offers decent Nasi Lemak but the presentation was a bit disappointing in my opinion. But I think it is because of delivery, and the standard of this should be way better.

Chicken & Corn Salad With honey mustard dip. Their chicken was quite forgettable. The sauce also made no sense. I really liked the lame salad though! Got corn and crabmeat.

Cheese Pull Chicken Hotplate With soy sauce. I had been craving this since noticing it. But a word of advice after my disappointment: get any size bigger than solo so that your cheese comes with fire to keep it gooey. Given ours hardened, it's a dumb meal. Their KFC and curly fries were fine.
