No one does gelato as good as them, I swear!! Back again at my favourite place for gelato. Got these sweeties on Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 and super worth it 💯

Got the Pistachio & Hazelnut & Lemon Basil & Green Tea Toasted Rice. I must say all of them were done well starting with the sweet intense Pistachio that had a fragrant nutty taste and pistachio bits omg so good😍 to the hazelnut which tasted like ferrero rocher and having a scoop of the Lemon Basil which went well as a palate cleanser to cut off the heaviness of the previous flavours and for me to indulge more😬 The toasted green tea though, I must say even made a matcha hater like me to love this👍👍 it was just done so well I cannot describe it, gotta try for yourself especially those who dislike matcha.

I would gladly return anytime I’m craving for the pistachio because hands down, the best pistachio gelato I ever tasted and even without the 1-for-1, I would get it. Special shoutout to the Toasted Green Tea too❤️ Miss this already😅

Got the regular one at $15++. Went during weekday afternoon with no queue yayyy. Service was fast but doesn’t compromise on quality of food. Generous serving which I can say worth the price tag given varied ingredients such as seafood, chicken and vegetables tempura. Was impressed by the flavourful batter albeit could have more crunch to it but still good! The rice was glistening and sweet even on its own. Perfect combination with the soya sauce. Would return for it again and maybe try their seasonal special :)

Ordered the ever famous Berry Ricotta Hotcake ($18.90). Waited 30 mins for this and I was so excited to have it after hearing rave about this beauty. It was filled with tons of ingredients and at first look, maybe the price tag isn’t so bad. Immediately digged in and somehow, my heart sank. I was letdown with how the hotcake was undercooked and the nuts being old and powdery. The berries were on the sour side as well. I guess that’s enough for me to not return anymore. I think there may be a consistency issue with this place as some hotcakes looks much darker in colour hence mine was an unfortunate event .. 😔

$7 for this and oh boy it was so good! Thought it would be a hot dessert but it was cold. Not complaining at all cuz it was really good and sweet. Had the real cempedak fruit inside as well and it was big too! So worth it yum yum. However best to share with someone as it can get jelak

Had the Mango Souffle ($8.80) early this year. It was so cute and pretty small actually. Taste was alright, mangoes were ok but would have went better with vanilla ice cream. No longer on the menu but this attracted a lot of customers for their opening. Not sure if it will make a return

Had the Laksa Pasta with choice of Penne. So good and must order. Creamy laksa base which goes well with the Penne and generous amount of different seafood given. Worth it and will return to get it!

Ordered the Truffle Shoestring Fries as well which was very fragrant and addictive. Do get it!!

Had the Mango Pancakes $14.40/4pcs. Looked pretty and was jiggly too! Generous amount of Mangoes were given on top and between the stacks and they were sweet too! Thumbs up for that :) Hokkaido cream in between the stacks were airy and light which provided good texture.

However, the sides seem to be quite undercooked and grainy. Requested for the staff to change however they came back saying it was supposed to be that way. Hmmm it tasted off with the apparent flour taste. Had to cut away the sides but the rest were pretty good and delicious, especially with the vanilla ice cream which I think could be bigger hehe

Fried Chicken portion was really huge and would be best to share among 2 pax. It was definitely moist, even the breast however it was lacking in taste on its own. The hot sauce was too runny and didn’t do much to elevate the taste. Honestly was a bit of a letdown ...

The waffle that came with it was nothing spectacular and the bourbon maple syrup tasted like regular syrup with little bourbon taste honestly.

BUT i must say the star of the dish was the watermelon. ⭐️ Serves as a palate cleanser between the savoury chicken and sweet waffles which definitely is so refreshing with the striking mint taste and had a mild heat at the end with the paprika used. This is what I call taking something so simple to the next level, brilliant! 👍👍

The Mac n Cheese was so jelak and bad. Skip this. Overall, it was a very full yet not satisfying meal but the watermelon deserves a shoutout!

Got the small platter which consists of Char Siew and pork belly together with the noodle and lava egg.

Gotta say my favourite was the crispy pork belly with the mesmerising crunch and the highlight was definitely the mustard sauce which goes so well with it. So so good!! (U can ask for extra mustard sauce for free cuz trust me, it’s very addictive😉)

The char siew was good as well, was tender and sweet but i would eat it on its own instead of the additional sauce given as it got overwhelmingly sweet and jelak. Also, the char siew seem to taste better at the Roast Paradise outlet but still it’s good here.

The noodle was springy and had a good flavour to it with the chili and I had it with the lava egg. Had minced meat and the pork lard definitely gave the crunch and the xtra oomph

Got the ShackBurger - simply beefy deliciousness with the house sauce that complements well and toasted buttered brioche bun was so goooood. Highly recommend when craving for a simple cheeseburger 💯

SmokeShack had a different flavour profile with a nice tinge of spice from the red peppers and texture from the crispy bacon! My favourite out of the two 👌

Cheese Fries - crinkle cut-fries was crispy but lacked taste and cheese was too mild and was weird. I’d skip this the next time

Overall delicious and relatively affordable for value, portion and taste wise. Went on a Monday afternoon and queue was approximately 1 hour. Will I queue again? Actually, yes because it really lives up to the hype 👍 can’t wait to be back again and get their shake as well
